We don't have to just "take the slings and arrows." You saw what Swagu did? That's what every black man in sports media should be doing. Call out the BS and shut it down. Ryan Clark has been getting at Burrow for 3 seasons. Maybe Chris Canty too but it's crickets with white analysts. There's enough of us in NFL media to balance out the talking points.

I don't care if the criticism is fair but acting like Lamar is playing video games all night when he had one of the greatest statistical seasons in history last year is obviously an agenda with no merit.

Can't use the Herbert and Goff not being as good as Lamar excuse. Lions were a contender and a rookie came in and outperformed Goff. Herbert has been considered the prototype QB since his rookie season and hasn't win a playoff game. Whiteness is the only reason they don't get the criticism.

Russ was playing when Brady, Manning, and Rodgers were still elite and had to deal with a "his teammates didn't think he's back enough" report as the start of defending Seattle's championship. He wasn't some elite QB or an MVP.

Caleb had that report that dropped before this season. One year into his career and they already had the hit piece ready.

Cam was dealing with that his whole career.
All you are saying is the obvious. The media is generally racist and biased against Black people in comparison to white people. We all know this. And newsflash, it's not changing anytime soon.
If everyone knows the media is racist and biased about black players, especially black QBs, then YOU AND OTHERS SHOULDNT BELIEVE A SECOND OF THEIR NONSENSE.

But here we are trying to defend Lamar against people that are literally taking what the Media says as gospel.

THATS the problem.

If people wanna send out hit pieces about players that dont deserve it, then they gotta deal with US defending him NO MATTER WHAT.

But they wanna complain about that too...

Josh Allen is a media darling on a level that we may have never seen before. He may be more beloved by the media than prime Favre and prime Manning. Burrow is another media darling, too who benfitted from close association to Mahomes and the Chiefs.
What does this even mean?! :laff:

That’s like saying Megatron was a media darling. Justin Jefferson is a media darling

Yea, when you are at the elite 99.9999% of your position, you tend you get covered favorably! You want them to make shyt up to be mad about? Oh thats right, they did. 2023 when Buffalo started out 5-5

I don’t feel like looking for more. But all the pitchforks and nitpicking coverage was there. Then they just kept winning that year, last year, this year. Along the way he’s Re-wrote the record books, all with a mid supporting cast on BOTH sides of the ball. So the only ridicule left is the same that ALL non-title QBs get which is ‘can’t win the big one’.

So, again, what criticism of Josh Allen SHOULD be given that isn’t?! Lamar gets criticized bc he has peaks and valleys. He has questionable availability. Show me where Josh Allen has had a 4td 5int 5 fumble minimal rushing stretch. I’ll wait. Josh Allen been consistent. Y’all just blinded by that goofy militant shyt. Let’s just be real

In all honesty, the dude is an all time talent. But in the playoffs, he hasnt done enough for his team to win it.

He hasnt overcome turnovers, or whatever else weird shyt happens in playoffs games to make it happen.

Your always left with, damn he couldve did more.

And yes the racism is prevalent but his stats are insane and he passes the eye test with flying colors.

The shyt just hasnt clicked when it matters.

The thing is he has done enough for his team to win it h litterlaly put his team in the position to win last year and Andrew's dropped it

They're not black with grills

But they have also performed better in the playoffs than Lamar. Unfortunately first impressions in the playoffs matter, and Burrow started off hot in the playoffs while Lamar did not. Allen has had some great performances in the playoffs , though he's had some mediocre or even bad games too.

Lamar should have won MVP last year, though. And Burrow should take more heat.

Allen gets overrated a lot, though, especially this year when Cook is the league's leading rusher but people are saying stuff to the effect of "it's all Josh Allen!"

Josh Allen is only good against the chiefs in the playoffs because they built there team around the chiefs other than that he's mid to trash..... he had a great playoff game against a mediocre pittsburg team too

Its been this way since he came out of college. Once he started winning MVPs they took it to a whole new level. Its a shame that some Ravens fans buy into the nonsense that is being said about him.

Josh Allen literally missed an open WR against the Eagles on Sunday and the biggest criticism was that the HC went for it not that Josh botched the throw. A few weeks ago, Burrow threw one of the worst pick sixes I've ever seen and the next few days were about how depressed he sounds and how the Bengals failed him rather than how he's missed the playoffs for the 3rd straight season while openly demanding the team paid both of his WRs. Burrow gets whatever he wants from the Bengals.

Lamar has been hurt multiple times this year and people are claiming he's faking it to the point he had to address it at a press conference. They're criticizing him for not healing fast enough for their liking. A reporter that apparently everyone in Baltimore knows is bogus got his fake story pushed by Nick Wright. It's different.
Josh allen blamed himself for missing the throw and pretty much all of buffalo media said he had a bad game. Idk who yall be listening too do it be talking heads or first fake or something? Pretty much all local media said he was bad, and attributed it possibly due to his foot injury. shyt 99% of Buffalo media/podcaat was behind McDermott going for the win, said josh has to make that throw which he said himself. yall just be making up shyt or only listening to 3 talking heads

Josh Allen gets ton of passes. He literally had the ball with a chance to get a win against KC, for 2.straight yrs, and failed both times. They blame the kicker for missing the fg, which only wouldve tied and.not the QB for missing the drag that wouldve gotten the first down that couldve led to the gw td. He had the ball at KC, with a chance to right the wrongs and couldnt get them in range and couldnt read the repeated blitzes that came his way. They blamed the defense, but when you play elite teams, you have to expect that the other team will produce.

See Manning overcoming the dynasty Patriots by scoring 38 pt in the 2006.AFC Championship. Poor supporting.cast? He had a top ranked scoring defense and a number 1 WR.for like 3 years in a row. How does that constitute a poor supporting cast? What rankings.dont matter, now? Without looking it up,.I am certain that he has had 2 No.1 scoring defenses..With Stefon Diggs.

Although its not simultaneously, he has played with a receiving champ, possible running champ and a defense that has managed to allow the least amount of pts in the league on multiple occassions. They let him down, big time in the 13 second game, but that has not been every.year..

That is more than good.enough to win. He is inconsistent in his decision making and his acccuracy. How many QBs do u know can go 10/31 in a game, yet still win the MVP that.season? Youre trying act oblivious to the narratives, huh?? Everytime he plays bad, the talking heads, ESPN, Simms, Cowherd etc, say he doesnt have help. When he plays at the top of.his game, they say he may play the game better than any other quarterback that we have seen.
