:heh: Breh is sharif abdur rahim of 10s

Stop it....

Fam is easily a Top 10 All-Time Blazer and thats being critical, hes closer to Top 5 than Top 10. And if anything, he's more this era's Stoudemire than Sharif--->not in style of play, in relative standing/hierarchy in The League during his time...

LA certainly isn't a lock but he's gonna warrant real HOF consideration, at least he should...

Guy has been one of my favorite players for years, the worst thing i have to say is i remember the move to SA six years ago. He was supposed to be Duncan's heir apparent, and he and Kawhi were supposed to carry the Spurs dynasty into a new era. That first season together (2015-16) they pissed me off so much, the two of them struggled playing with and off of each other. That '17 season is when Kawhi asserted himself as the #1 and i thought LA played a very good #2, but between the beefs with Pop and Kawhi going out in G1 WCF it really hit home for me: my guy Aldridge was not really the guy I thought he was...

When Kawhi went down he finished the series averaging like 11/5 with a 61-win team getting swept, it was embarrassing and I was pissed at this dude. He carried them valiantly during Kawhi's absence in '18 but the stench of the first two years there hit home and told me who he was. Always was one of my favorites though, he just couldn't be the heir to Duncan I wished he was...

He deserves Hall consideration though, one of the better bigs of his time and a Top 15 player of his era...

I'm wondering too :jbhmm:

He'll still get a ring tho right? I thought anyone who was a part of the team during the championship season got a ring. So guys like Levert and Allen would get rings also, even tho they were traded.

Nah it doesn't work like that. If you're on the roster after the trade deadline you get a chip. I'm sure they'll gift him a ring if they win but I wouldn't want it if I was him, knowing I was only there 5 games...

good decision from LMA. His health is the most important. He was a great player in the western conf for years and i wanted him bad when he was a FA. Great career and i hope his health issues work out

Damn, All the best for the breh. :picard:

Its crazy to me how some athletes develop these things after so many years and medicals etc. I'm assuming he hasnt always had this/not congenital etc.

He's played his whole career with a heart issue. He just had a really good system of medication and doctors looking over him so it hasn't effected him.

But I don't blame him for retiring. Whatever he has been doing just all of a sudden stopped working, which can be a bad sign. If I was in the same position I would have retired to.

A professional athlete randomly comes down with heart issues the moment he joins the best team in the NBA?

Where I’m from we call this VOODOO, something funky is going down in LA :merchant:

But then again could just be all that TexMex catching up to him :patrice:

He had heart issues his whole career

It was a blessing missing out on him. Breh wasn’t worth that contract. Like I said earlier good career but will be forgotten in 2 years
