not sure.. without an elite point guard.. the system is broken...they did it with an elite center...then point guard.. but now they have a forward and PF....

not sure if pop got a system for that type of play..

he had two ghost on the team... and french ghost and an Italian/Argentinian ghost..

though to pull really.

did you forget that added Pau Gasol who is STILL Elite.

They also added David Lee who is underrated

Tony Parker is STILL an elite point guard. He just wasnt healthy last year.

And WTF are you talking about. The Spurs system they run, doesn't even need an elite point guard.

In fact Spurs purposely are building roster that revolves around having a plethora of skilled big men and shooters. They don't even really need a good point guard.

Spurs should of been in the finals with the roster they had last year. They were DESTROYING OKC, then simply just choked completely.

Also Tim Duncan finally got old and couldn't even make layups efficiently in the playoffs. In fact he was so bad, Pop hardly even played him.

They have an even BETTER roster than last year and Tony Parker is healthy. They will be in the finals.

You are underestimating how much better they have become with the simple addition of Pau Gasol and David LEe

Is there anything in the Spurs last 20 years to indicate they would operate like this? Spurs just signed Pau for 2 years this offseaaon. They dont sign Pau to trade LMA and rebuild. And they dont throw trade possibilities out there unless its inflating the value of one of their players. (See George Hill)

And when in life has Jackie McMullin broke a single story about the Spurs?

:comeon:

Its likely this comes from a rival team to discourage free agwnts from signing next summer.

when parker played bad.. they lost the finals/plays off serries..

when he played well.. they won..

13 parker injured.

14 parker a running for MVP until they put bron on him
15 parker "injured"
16 parker fizzled out/injured"

add to the fact he is a FMVP

parker/duncan/ginobilly was the motor behind the chips.. the three non role players in the system.

Seeing what went down with LaMarcus in Portland it's not that hard to believe he'd be a bit upset in San Antonio.
