This guy is fascinating to me, he doesn't seem real. This is the first time I've seen where this much information and motivation is given to you directly from the killer and not the media framing it how they want. The media's still doing that, but you can get his story from him very easily too.
There's something funny about "Hey! Elliott Rodger here!" opening all his videos in an eager voice, then turning to his hell of a life and women needing to be eradicated within minutes.
It's hard to say what individually caused this or what could've stopped it, but I think getting a prostitute or taking shrooms/lsd/dmt would've helped. People have said a hooker wouldn't help him, but I don't see how actually having sex wouldn't challenge his views. Above all else, he needed a different perspective, a powerful experience to challenge his views on things. Something to make him realize the absurdity and at times logical inconsistency of his views. Like evilly laughing in the video, you can tell that's not him, it's unconvincing. That's what he thinks he's supposed to do.
Creepy

"People need to stop bullying, but not only that. People also need to start accepting everyone. People need to befriend those lonely shy individuals instead of shun them, to make them feel like they belong. Social classes are evil, and lead to tragedies such as this. Humanity needs to unite as equals.
This being the same guy who brags of descending from aristocracy and thinking himself above someone who may have descended from slaves for only that reason... He was completely ridiculous in a lot of ways. You have to be suffering a lot in life to do what he did though, and I do feel bad for him and anyone who feels like him for that.
