I don't think it was racial, blacks were not the source of his suffering.
Elliot Rodger is the typical superficial "nice guy" who comes off as a weirdo because he is so phony.
I avoid these types because we know "nice guys" will lose it any day because they are putting up an "act".
He would have been better off being a douche or a sensitive lame, I respect these guys more than a "nice guy", because "nice guys" try to hide their true personality and opinions.

There was no way for him to come off phony. Everyone who know him who gave interviews says he barely even talked. In his head he thought he was nice. He looks like the type of rich douche who would be extremely outgoing but dude was pretty much a hermit and awkward.

I disagree, I think if he would have consistently gotten treatment and was medicated before he went completely off the deep end he would have turned out okay and would have adapted to society and this wouldn't have happened.
His parents are largely to blame. He went off at the dinner table when he was 16 saying he wanted to kill himself.. What happens? His dad and step mom (who he hated) talked with him.. THEN his dad kindly let's him know he's going to Morocco alone with her and has no choice. How sweet and negligent.. A trip to Morocco, not a psych hospital.
Dude went from saving his drowning brother to wanting to kill him 9 years later.
He turned into a sociopath, but he wasn't born one.
