His game is so weird. Like he’s not fundamentally sound at all. He’s out there playing park ball yet he’s still effective, crazy.
what? plays at his own pace, scans the court, tight handle, super unselfish, always moving off-ball, elite footwork and touch, he's one of the most fundamentally sound players in the game, he just also happens to be fun to watch :banderas:

You have no idea what being fundamentally sound is. He plays like he’s in the park or open gym. His footwork is ass. Yea he can pass the ball well but his overall game isnt textbook stuff or what i would describe as “crisp”. He’s obviously effective but his game is wacky.

show us another pg his age doing what you're describing with the same level of production then

He doesn't just pass the ball well he is a phenomenal passer on every level bounce pass, overhead, full court, swing, cross court, behind the back, lob he can make every pass seamlessly.

I think you have a close-minded view on what fundamentals should look like, you don't put up the numbers he does with that efficiency without being fundamentally sound, you just don't

Jordan Poole and Jalen Green are players who aren't fundamentally sound, Lamelo Ball is not.

Jordan Poole is actually more fundamentally sound(basketball wise) than Ball tho. Again, you dont know what you’re talking about. He’s just less effective and a worse player. Two things you can be true. Poole has better footwork, better looking jumpshot/form. Better handle. His footwork when he steps into a shot is way better than Ball’s. Better layup package. I can show a clips of Poole’s highlights to and up and coming kid and say thats the way you step into a shot. You cant show Lamelo’s highlights and teach that stuff because it isnt textbook/proper but it’s effective for him.

You guys are confusing production with basic basketball fundamentals. You can be a an effective player and still have a sloppy, non textbook game.
