He's played 8 games.
8.

:beli:

And while he is in a slump right now, it's nothing to be too concerned about.
He's also 40 years old. So if he is :flabbynsick:...it's to be expected.

A-Rod's actually spent some time at the Gardens before as well. Let's see if he chooses to settle in and make it a permanent residence or if he's just visiting again.

Can't tell future but right now .100 is bad doesn't matter if it's 2 weeks or 12 he looks ass out there.Girardi is going to ha e to sit him next game.

It absolutely matter if it's 2 weeks or 12 weeks. A slump in baseball is unlike any other sport, and timing takes weeks if not months to get down for some hitters. 2 weeks into the season with only 30 at bats, for one of the GOATs, is way too early for his batting average to be a real concern.

I agree that it's still too early but I doubt he puts up above average numbers this year again. He hasn't scored or driven in over 100 runs since like 08. I doubt he matches last years home run total. He's at 688 all time. Will he even break the record?

He'll catch Ruth.

But he won't catch Bonds or Aaron.

If he wasn't suspended in 2014...he'd already have passed Ruth...and would have had a VERY GOOD chance to catch Bonds.

It's early but A Rod wasn't predicted to put up numbers he out up last year this year,he gonna get his stats maybe bat .240 but eventually time wins.

If ARod can get the Marlins to keep him around like ichiro I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't his last contract
He's done.

He's already announced he is retiring after his contract is up at the end of next season.
Alex turns 41 this summer...will be 42 at the end of his contract...and he's not playing at 43 years old.....even if he does...he's certainly not doing it on a Marlins team that doesn't have the DH position.

Yeah that whole steroid thing hurt him a bit. That hurt lots of players. Like look at Ryan Braun. Wasn't he involved in something like that? Haven't heard much about him lately anyways. As far as a-rod, I think it might just be a matter of staying healthy. Is he still playing the field? They should dh him if possible? Who's the dh if he isn't?
