The Negro Leagues.
The best talent of Baseball.
The best hitters and pitchers.
Pride and passion unrivaled.
Community supported it.
Hardly any whites watched or cared.
Most White people are racists and that has and will always be the case.

They support the system of white supremacy much more than they care about talent as they would feel their product is superior regardless.

The whole reason they love Football and Basketball is those are white owned sports on a professional.

this is bullshyt. an all-black basketball league with the most talented black ball players would overtake the nba. the TV networks would have to follow it. nobody is paying to go see an all-white basketball league. nobody. not even the most hardcore racists are forking over their money for that. the talent is in black america.

it's very sad to see some of you actually disagreeing with johnson. he's speaking to very problem that lies at the heart of this entire controversy. you have exclusively white ownership in a league that is predominantly black, a league that rakes in billions every year off of the talent of those black players. larry johnson is right on the money.

black people are trillion dollar spenders. think about that. to say that an all-black league won't succeed is absurd.

I disagree with the people wouldn't watch a white league because european basketball is very popular on it's own so people would definitely watch a white league especially racist if there is good or decent basketball being played but I agree with your other point that a black basketball league would be a lot more successful due to the talent gap.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with what he said, I dunno why everybody reacted so negatively to the thought. The only problem is that he said it out loud with no real intention or plan to ever see something like that happen.

Yeah he really should keep something like that quiet and get the black players together to create some type of future fund so that they can start to buy teams.

You're not suppose to announce something like that. You're suppose to just start a league where all the owners just happen to be black. It's suppose to look and manifest as coincidental, while obviously blatant.
