Maybe Melo being a top 3 player in the NBA and leading the league in scoring (or even JR Smith being 6th man of the year) had more to do with the Knicks success than Felton

John Wall is elite. He might not be Curry, Westbrook or Lillard but he’s the next best thing.
Meanwhile Knicks fans would love to have Kyrie or even Kemba cause they can shoot (the only thing they do better than Wall).
But Knicks have enough scorers and shooters now and especially when Porzingis returns They need someone who knows how to pass and play fast with their young core

I give Simmons his props for his impact on writing (footnotes game was next level) and the Ringer being incredible. But I never take anything he says about the NY teams seriously.
On another note, Vorkunov with the athletic says Frank was more assertive and pushed back on questions about his recent DNP's today than the media has seen. He quickly added that it was still done respectfully but beggars can't be choosers.

I am really optimistic that this development will push Frank into a very good direction.
In his defense, he gave us a lot of love outside of that trade. He wants us to get Zion more than anyone.

That's surprising, I think he's been one of the main dudes beating the KD to NY drum also so at KD and Zion in one offseason he's earned some slack
