If we wasn't holding out for KD I would try and take advantage of a team through a trade of Enes expiring 18 mil contract, and some of the extra youth.

If KD isn't coming they should trade Enes Expiring and then go over the cap to keep any of the youth they want on short deals. Make a plan to reset in 1-2 years hopefully as a better team

Honestly there’s so much smoke around the knicks chances of landing someone big that I get why they’re waiting. Kawhi or KD would be guaranteed generational talent on the knicks and cement our next few years minimum. Plus the meltdown full of unsourced rumors would be epic and exacerbate the pressure on all the young guys.
That said, I’d probably pick the “flip cap space for assets” direction myself. I wonder if they consider that in the offseason if they whiff on the big names, Mills recent comments left the door open.

he'll look good when his shot is falling but he literally gives you nothing else
we lost cause of his constant need to play iso ball. him, timmy and to a lesser extent allonzo.
the ball was moving like a mother fukker until he subbed in the 2nd and 4th to completely ruin continuity cause the ball sticks in his hands
knox fades away towards seconds halves cause his conditioning probably isnt ready for 48 minute game and they constantly go away from him when games are close.
his looks severely go down after the first quarter.

lol at Mudiay getting more minutes than Ntilikina, because he's playing against his former team. Frank played one of his best all-around games and deserved more minutes tonight. Hopefully, he can build on this in a new year.
