I wonder if Kanter can develop a consistent 3 point shot? If not he's gonna be a terrible fit next year if he opts in.I could see O'Quinn starting day 1 if both of them return.

......yall don't remember that 1 game towards the end of the season when both Burke and Mudiay went off? I was like 1st we got "Trey I" now we got "Mudi-Wade".
I can see the comparison. Mudiay is a poor, destitute, eating out of a trash can, vagrant, homeless man's Dwyane Wade. But that one game when he was on, I could see the comparison.
But before you Knickas start breaking your fingernails on your keyboards while typing furious replies to this post, I know and Fiz knows dude will NEVER be D-Wade. He's trying to give him some confidence. But if he can fix his broken jumper and get some form of consistency out of him, he can develop to a solid 11 ppg scorer off the bench.

Fitz is in ny gettin high, drinking, banging his wife, and enjoying his new found celebrity. Hes on an emotional high and its making him outlandish shyt because hes so excited lol

A little concerning....but....I kinda look at it as confidence in the guys he coaches & using that confidence as a motivation tool to get his guys to their highest ceiling.
Irrational, over confidence? Sure. Ok. But again, I dont see it as anything other than a coach tryin to get the best out of his players
If lofty, exaggerated comparisons are as bad as it gets with Fiz then we'll be more than ok

I wonder if Kanter will still love Fiz after he starts benching him in the 4th like Hornacek used to do b/c he's such a defensive liability.
I mean, if he was willing to bench his star Gasol in the 4th of a game, I cant imagine he would give a second thought to benching Kanter for being a turnstile on the defensive side of the basketball
On the bright side, him opting in prevents the FO from doing something stupid this summer. Yes, I have faith in the competency of this FO, but........its the Knicks
