Bottom line is, Frank sucks right now, but his value has bottomed out and it makes no sense to trade him, trust in Fiz and develop him because frankly there isn't a better option anymore. Progress isn't linear though and I feel like if he can overcome feeling overwhelmed, he'll start to develop pretty rapidly. A mentality shift, some confidence and a better handle can turn Frank into Shai Gilgeous Alexander, just gotta be patient.

The argument isn't that Frank is playing well. It's that the Knicks are a tank team whether he's playing or not. The analytics just point to the fact that there are ways that you can make him work and that show upside if he improves (ie: he's 38% from the three point line a night away from being a positive impact 3 and D player right now). He's 20 years old and too good defensively to throw in the towel on his development. That's it.
