Morris is in his prime and while he is a chuck/black hole he’s not inefficient with 45/38/84 splits last season and a diverse offensive attack from the mid post to C&S. He’s also a hardnosed defender/enforcer.

I’ll throw in my 0.02¢ in. I’ll be honest. Me personally, I don’t know what the FO should do breh. BUT - I would draft that nikka RJ OR trade the pick+French fakkit+fillers (not Mitch, tho) on draft night for AD or trade down for expiring contracts+future draft picks.




As far as FA - if we strike out on nikkas like KD, Kawhi, Klay, Kyrie - we should stay put and ONLY take on expiring contracts for draft picks and/or sign one year deals.

If that happens great

But Knicks don’t even need him.

He was top 3 coming into Duke

Taller and longer than RJ. Better defender. Seems like a better athlete and hasn’t nearly shown his potential at Duke

High risk/high reward

In my opinion that’s a risk worth taking instead of drafting a “maybe better” more “nba ready” player they don’t need if they get Durant or Kyrie
