Wayne Ellington was a Knick for 5 weeks when we traded Chandler and Felton to LA back in June of 2014. Then we traded him, Jeremy Tyler and a 2nd rounder to the Kings for Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw in August. He never played for us though

I’m cool with signing him, RoLo, DeAndre, George Hill as vets.

Ellington is a great shooter.

I get wanting to have a contingency plan but throwing 2 players who are still developing into un-natural positions (that they wouldnt even be good at) is not a soluton.

The reality is they are going to have to bring someone in to fill that position.

Well they've already been doing this, experimenting with both Dotson and Trier at point guard, Frank at shooting guard and Knox at power forward.
