Above the fray.
This name might be more numerous in the Caribbean.

Same with Braithwaithe, which is numerous in the US Virgin Islands, cause they were Danish territory before US.
I've met Brathwaites before, all Caribbean descent.
I assume it's an Anglicized version of the same name.

That's the surname of Fab 5 Freddy.

Believe it or not but I’ve never met somebody with the last name Simpson. Only ones I know are OJ, the yellow cartoon characters, and a defunct Canadian department store.
I was like me neither, then I realized that's my mother maden last name

My last name is Irish and I got the 23andme results to show there's a little blood attached to it.

Mom's last name is an old Scottish clan name that's reasonably common.

The furthest "north" my fam went before World War II was probably South Carolina/north Georgia (and that was Pre-Civil War before the ancestors got sold to Texas and Louisiana). The last names make sense for us.

Mine has ties to a Scottish clan too :ohhh:

Im a Tucker, i don't meet other Tuckers often.

I worked with a Tucker before
