Even if he was poking fun, that still doesn't change anything. He said claiming something was niche was just hating cause you don't like the game. Meach tried to quote him from another thread where he was blantantly trolling and imitating the poster who said LBP is a niche game and after I posted the 8+ Milli sales it had, I pointed out that "niche" is a wrong word as there's other games that sell that same amount that isn't called "niche". Prodigal then started calling games with similar sale units "niche" to point out how silly it sounds . Meach then quotes THAT post to try and "prove" that dude is hypocritical when that was incorrectly quoted.

does trolling in a Evolve thread have to do with LBP? First off I used SALES to prove that LBP is not a "niche" title in the sense dude I was proving to was talking in. He was trying to contend that "games that don't really sell or is known" are niche to which he was proven wrong as LBP series sold 8million+ at that time alone.He also said LBP isn't that great of a series and I THEN used Metacritic to prove THAT statement wrong also it literally has a 90+ Metacritic which proves that it's a quality franchise despite your personal opinion.

By that defintion Gears or any game for that matter appeals to a certain "Group".. Gears may not appeal to people who like strategy games just as Final Fantasy may not appeal to competitive fighting game players. obviously the world isn't black and white so there are people who enjoy both so what's really niche? It would have to be something specialized like say "3D arena brawlers" as the term "fighting game" may be too broad.
"Shooters" may be too broad but "post apocalyptic shooters set in the future" is a niche.. Get it?
