Suspect Araujo, a passenger in a vehicle approached victims and shot at them from inside the vehicle while the victims were on the sidewalk. Wanted for murder.

The LAPD is asking for the public's help in locating Roberto Salazar, who is wanted in connection with the murder of Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Juan Escalante on August 8, 2008. As Deputy Escalante was leaving home in the early morning hours, he was approached by a gunman who fired multiple shots at him. The LAPD reports Salazar has clearly shown himself as a violent gang member with no regard to human life
