I havent listened to the album but from her JBP interview this was pose to be a "rappity" album where she focused on bars over the sex/slut stuff Cardi/Meg have. Im guessin the label not gonna let her release another project like this and it's back to the cardi/Meg stuff.
Tbh the only time I ever heard her was the thot rap stuff. The Meeting song with Gucci/Foo. Kirk with Duke Duece. Sometimes you gotta stick with pays the bills.

This the reality of a lot of acts rn I got connections inside not sayin nothing else but let's jus say a lot of ya don't realize these acts are a gamble off rip by labels especially nowadays fact my mans told me producers get they contracts renewed off rip even before the artist drop they shyt that's tell me them labels ain't confident in they artist either

Yeah there's a lot of artists getting signed on the low and the label tries to sneak them in on some "if you know you know" type shyt but a lot of them flop.

It works for some artists tho it worked for EST Gee and CEO Trayle

Maybe her label. They shelled out the money for that Tom Tom Club sample, Dr Luke production and a Mariah feature for a deluxe. I don't think that female rap fans had any real expectations on her sales, especially not like they would have for Meg or Cardi.

i mean.... i'm sure she recouped already with show money or endorsements/appearances (the streams from her big single on spotify alone calculates to 6 figures, not to mention the other platforms that pay way more than spotify). she still seems popular as a celebrity figure to make money but i don't think her music really hitting like that outside of meme singles
