They spent a budget like she was though. She won’t recoup off this album, this is like a million dollar budget. That’s not bad for a female rapper
She ain’t Cardi, Nicki, or even Meg what y’all expect
I was bout to say people laughed at doja and look at how her album is still performing .Heard of her on JBP for the first time like last week. First week numbers are also getting played out, the replay value of your shyt is mad important
She actually doesn’t do a lot of that on her album .lol are we shocked? One Hit wonder, who wants to hear talk about "my p*ssy" for 50 minutes
I havent listened to the album but from her JBP interview this was pose to be a "rappity" album where she focused on bars over the sex/slut stuff Cardi/Meg have. Im guessin the label not gonna let her release another project like this and it's back to the cardi/Meg stuff.
Tbh the only time I ever heard her was the thot rap stuff. The Meeting song with Gucci/Foo. Kirk with Duke Duece. Sometimes you gotta stick with pays the bills.![]()

Latte album is not going to have that type of longevity. She doesn’t have another big single on her album, plus Doja is a much better artist.I was bout to say people laughed at doja and look at how her album is still performing .
That song with Wayne and gambino might be a good single .Latte album is not going to have that type of longevity. She doesn’t have another big single on her album, plus Doja is a much better artist.
This the reality of a lot of acts rn I got connections inside not sayin nothing else but let's jus say a lot of ya don't realize these acts are a gamble off rip by labels especially nowadays fact my mans told me producers get they contracts renewed off rip even before the artist drop they shyt that's tell me them labels ain't confident in they artist either

I edited my post for more info, but here is the vid:

Maybe her label. They shelled out the money for that Tom Tom Club sample, Dr Luke production and a Mariah feature for a deluxe. I don't think that female rap fans had any real expectations on her sales, especially not like they would have for Meg or Cardi.
