Your knowledge of those lawsuits is very surface level. But I guess that's what happens when you try to debate based on info you got from Google University as opposed to having been around at the time everything went down.
Anyways, someone named after Beyonce should not be starting a thread like this anyway. Sure, Lauryn had one good album 20 years ago. But the fact that she's still able to headline around the world speaks to the impact of that album. Name one Beyonce album that is or will be as loved as Miseducation is either today or 20 years from now? Does Beyonce even have a classic album? At the end of the day, Lauryn will always be more loved for her one album than Beyonce with her entire catalog, even with the late appearances.
P.S. Speaking of writing, when's the last time Beyonce actually wrote an album by herself? She be having 50 dudes on one song.

I think Lauryn is fairly rated talent wise, but The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill as an album is overrated imo.

She is very talented, but the legend came from the myth of her classic 1 and only album. She was walking around accepting the sayings that she wrote and produced the entire album by herself. After the album a lot of her writers and producers did not get paid or recognized so they bounced, which is why she never came out with anything else.
