Snoop had his freedom and more money than ever with No Limit but that don't mean the music was necessarily better.

On Doggfather Snoop's flow was all over the place and on 85% of the songs and most of the beats were just aight to flat out whatever

But when u compare Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Tha Doggfather to Doggystyle, they don't come anywhere close to being better than Doggystyle.

None of the songs on Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Doggfather are better than any of the songs on Doggystyle

Now this ain't to say it ain't some good songs on Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Tha Doggfather because there is, but collectively and song for song, none of those albums are better than Doggystyle.

U gotta break this point of view down to me more so I can understand the perspective u coming from, bruh

`st 8 songs on both albums can go head up...and 5/8 on last meal will take the w... gin n juice...lodi dodi..tha shiznit will be the only defeats...and the rest of the album is pretty much equal

just go listen to all 4 albums u will see it...remove bias nostalgic ears and listen as a fan...of snoop

That Alright intro was more Thundercat than FlyLo and his sound was present during majority of TPAB IMO. I'm happy we ended up with Wesley's Theory, but yeah looking at that all-star production team...it sucks we didn't get more heat from them after TPAB dropped.

FlyLo, Kamasi, Pete Rock, fukking KNX, Thundercat, Glasper.....lord. I was disappointed when I found out they weren't involved with DAMN.

Thundercat is on Feel, and Kamasi did the strings on Fear. I like the fact that he went in a different direction instead of doing the same thing. No idea what he'll do next.

gkmc is dumb down version of section 80...

fukk ya ethnicity, blow my high ...rigor mortis...the spiteful chant..kush n cortinthians ...no make up...are all foundations of songs thats on gkmc n the rest of his albums..kendrick is so good he has revised every song on section 80...

GKMC is just objectively a more cohesive project than section 80. S80 just felt like a collection of songs that just happened to be on an album together. S 80 is good don't get me wrong but as an album GKMC is better. I think GKMC really benefitted from Dr. Dre involvement in terms of organization & the production sounding similar & one track fading into the next.
