depends what youre interested. web development? android/ios development? general programming?
been thinking about learning javascirpt & HTML - what do u suggest to pick up so that i can eventually run with it as a side hustle?
shyt how many diff types of coding even exist? does it make sense to do one instead of the other
do you need to learn one before learning the other..? :dwillhuh:

Thank you and rep to the threadstarter... I basically just spent about $200 on various courses that other industry professionals recommended to me. I am very happy to see this because I know later on, I'd look at the price tag for some of these courses and skip out on them... Bless you breh...

They'll be back on sale for the same price during Christmas/New Years
Thanks.

To be honest I already have the book on the class I'm talking about. Just wanted the online course too if I could get it for $15

Yep, infact the Youtube guy I check for C# basics (https://www.youtube.com/user/Brackeys) explains concepts far more simpler than any book I've read.. because most developers are self-learners (because of necessity), they forget the value of a good teacher lol. I can work with books & putting different sources of info together etc. but the average layman may be put off.

When I'm solid with my knowledge in a year or two I would love to do a YouTube series breaking everything down as simple as possible for beginners

man we could really fukk up these cac's economy up if millions of black brehs and brehettes started coding. we'd be running the social media game, we'd always be coming up with the next big thing. :wow:

our swag + our creativity + coding = us running these cacs out of the social media game :wow: :wow: :wow:

Yep

The more brehs learn coding, the better.

This is what the Chinese, cacs, Indians, Hispanics etc do. They find certain niches and dominate it together, and put each other on. Asians do it with IT and also their restaurants, nail shops, hair shops, etc. Indians do it with IT, Medical field, corner stores, gas stations etc. Hispanics are still doing it with Mexican restaurants, grocery stores, construction, etc.

Black men need to start doing more stuff like this....more of this is a positive no matter how you look at it. We need to infiltrate more fields. I'd say as of right now, coding and trades are two things more of us need to get into.
