How can learning a skill be a gamble my G! What about posting on the coli?
You have 6000+ posts. Lets say each post took 2 minutes to compose.
Altogether that is 12000 mins = 200 hours of time spent on here posting.
Imagine learning this for 2 hours a day, 5 x a week = 200 hours in 6 months approx.
In roughly 6 months you will have a good grasps on the basics in a good skill that you can keep building on.. & you can do whatever you want with it.
If its a gamble, it sounds like good odds to me,
I do that shyt too
I dropped out of college (I'm 21) but I'm studying for my A+, so I hit up the private college near my house and use their library since I need a quiet place to study
It doesn't hurt the campus is full of PAWGs![]()
This. I need some side income and already work from home. This has always been a question of mineOk so you complete these courses, do you get a certificate at the end of it? What can you put on your resume to show employers you are qualified for the job?
this seems like a gamble. you learn all that stuff and there is no guarantee that you are getting a job since you taught yourself with no school and having no past work experience. Would a recruiter even give you the time of day?or is this geared towards people building their own stuff/company?
i'm not interested though; just asking out of curiosity and not trying to put people's hopes down.
You don't need a certificate. The best part about coding is you can build whatever you want to show off to your potential employers. As long as you have a pretty decent profile to show and are able to talk about it somewhat intelligently then you should be fine.This. I need some side income and already work from home. This has always been a question of mine
Just kind of thinking aloud since I see these type of threads once a month but wouldn't it be beneficial to have a small group of brehs/brehettes who go through a course together and help each other with the assignments? I would say that self studying on your own would be hard for most people to stick with. Structure and comadary should help a lot more be successful.
He may not remember but @FreshFromATL helped me out a few times when I was working on some programming assignments a few years back and it was nice to have someone I could go to and have someone help you understand something.
