LeBron didnt have an outstanding game but the Spurs doubled him quickly and he exposed it by kicking to open shooters. I think we would all like to see him be a little more aggressive than he has been (especially game 1) since he has the ability to beat some of these double teams by himself but I don't know how anyone can sit here and be critical of him after they just won by blowout :dead:

LeBron was the 2nd leading rebounder on his team tonight, "and didn't get his 2nd reb until the 3rd quarter" . That's called coming through in the clutch for your team....ESPECIALLY when Lebron also led his team in steals, blocks, assists, and was second in scoring (2 pts less than Rio).

Or are you only trying to point out that LeBron didn't dance with the cheerleaders or do any half-time dunks in a costume?:what:

:dead:

nikka thats called getting abused on the boards by Kwahi Leonard majority of the game, shameless spin job

I get it. But I think his performance tonight is being overblown and yall are finally saying "finally" about those role players. Which I can't blame you for. But give those other cats their just due. They made plays.

his performance overblown by who? This thread is 6+ of nikkas shytting on him cuz he shot poorly, and I don't see anyone saying this performance is anything special. But to say he played BAD, in my opinion is totally baseless, and anyone with any real bball intellect would understand that he provided so much for his team tonight, as he does every night, just by being on the floor and playing with his head instead of adhering to some hero-ball narrative pushed by the media and salty former great players. Dude was everywhere tonight, but because his shots werent falling and he didnt score 30+ and have some gaudy stat line, ppl wanna act like he didnt play a part in the W?

And you're preaching to the choir about the role players, I know this squad has a good supporting cast, but the doubts about them have been well warranted. They've done about dikk this entire playoffs. Granted, Indiana was the first team that really required the supporting cast to step up, but they were shooting very bad going into this series. But yeah, kudos to them for rising to the occasion.

explain to me what passive means to you and examples of when he was being passive. He was involved damn near every offensive possession on the offensive side...but cause he wasnt the one scoring, so steve nash is like the most passive player in the world.

Great fukking post.

Some of these people in here, calling him passive, because he realized for the betterment of the team, he can't just jack up shots.

This is how Lebron wants to play. I don't know what is so hard for nikkas to accept about this. He's not Kobe. He's not Mike. He's not Melo. He's not KD. He's not Westbrook. He's not a scorer he just happens to score a lot of points. In Lebron's mind an assist/hockey assist >>>>>>>>>> scoring himself.
This is not really true either. Lebron is a scorer, he just doesn't want to have to be a volume shooter. He likes being able to play his overall game. He actually likes playing team ball more than playing hero ball.

...He got his little front-running stats, but everybody saw Leonard just out-muscle him on the boards tonight. Offensively he just wasnt good. Showed zero versatility or desire to dominate. Deferred like we was a role player...
Wait.
Hold up.
What is a front-runner?
