why would u want a prime shaq, who can have a bad game... and wasn't that great defensively... over one top 5 PF and one top 2 SG and HOFer ... who can both be played at the same time and are both amazing defensively... wade is larry holmes now but wasnt 2 years ago and last year. you can also play either one at any time while giving the other rest... its a no brainer.

Shaq was far from a bad defender in his prime. He was bad at defending the pick in roll, but that's it. He made the all defensive teams for a reason.

Shaq in the playoffs would drop 40/20/4/4 like it was nothing while being triple teamed.

Exactly. We all know LeBron could easily force up 10-15 more shots a game and regularly put up individual scoring totals in the 40's, 50's, 60's, etc on a regular basis. He'd also have a team record that is similar to what Kobe's is right now.

He would have great scoring nights on some nights and he would have some awful shooting nights on some others. There would be no guarantee that he'd score 40 on a given night and there wasn't for Kobe either. As a whole, LeBron would be much less efficient than he is now and it would equate to fewer team wins so he doesn't fukk with that.
