Didn't I previously say that folk with reason don't really care about if he does/doesn't have one on his resume?

If you wanna take that angle, then a certain portion of his stats are meaningless too - there's lil difference him protecting his FG%, getting boards and assists to balance out the box score than there is with him going out there looking to score 90% of the game.

I have always said that he is too concerned with having that balanced statline but its hard to criticize the results, especially the way he has been playing in recent years. If proving that he can score 60-80 points in a game isn't important to him, it isn't going to happen. You're the one saying he should take a game to prove it.

LeBron is an old "I could" ass nikka" with no FACTS behind any of em:ufdup:

LeBron's top 10 FGA games and outcome:

18-36 for 56 points against the Raptors
19-35 for 50 points against the Jazz
17-33 for 52 points against the Knicks
19-33 for 44 points against the Spurs
17-33 for 44 points against the Suns
15-33 for 43 points against the Nuggets
16-33 for 38 points against the Wizards
16-32 for 43 points against the Celtics
16-32 for 41 points against the Lakers
12-31 for 37 points against the Bobcats

:usure:

In order to score at LEAST 60 points in a game on 37 shots, he needs to be able to score 1.62 points per each FG attempt and, by his history and production, he doesnt make enough 3's consistently to get that mark.

None his top ten FGA games has he shot that well from the field. His BEST game in terms of "point per shot attempt" is his game against the Knicks where he scored 1.58 points per FGA.

Even THEN, he would only end up with 58 points scored. That's not 60 and 70 is out of the fukking question:comeon:

Please post the list of all Kobe games with 37 or more FGA. Thanks in advance.

Yep, yet he is the one that is supposedly afraid of hurting his fg% :laff:
uhhhhhhhhhhhhh:

James had just recorded 27 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and four steals in a victory against the Bobcats, and yet one number struck him as entirely unacceptable.

“Nine for 19!”

Yes, nine for 19 – as in a shade under 50 percent.

So why would this matter?

“It’s like a competition me and D-Wade are having right now about who can shoot 50 percent, in each and every game,” James said, when asked a couple of days later. “I had no idea, because I don’t know what’s going on throughout the game as far as stats. I came in after the game, I saw 9-for-19 and I missed that last long three, I felt I could have gotten into the lane and got a layup. I’ve got to make up for it.”

Do you see me criticizing his abilities or his results in this thread?

No, what I'm merely pointing out, if this feat is 'easy' to him in the sense that he's applying this 30+ shot template of him getting those points, then I don't buy the excuse of him saying 'winning is more important than scoring' as to why he's never had a 60, 70 point game. No one can be telling me that he can't sacrifice ONE game out of 82 games, like it will have a greater effect on the bigger picture. Yes, it is basically meaningless to score that much as it is him talking casually about it being 'easy' to do so.

He's basically just trying to protect himself from falling. Same reason he doesn't try to lead the league in scoring and the same reason why he doesn't enter the dunk contest. Again I have 0% issue with this, it's his game for better or for worse.

I'm just telling it like it is.

1st off, why cant you?

2ndly, what does Kobe hate to do with this thread?:mindblown:

Kobe aint the one who said "give me 37 shots in a game, I'm going to put up 60,70. Easy":yeshrug:

But, I will post these however:

Kobe scored 62 points on 18-31 against the Mavs, 61 points on 19-31 against the Knicks, and 60 points on 20-37 against the Grizzlies.

So, Kobe has scored 60+ on 37 shots or LESS on 3 occassions:blessed:

Thinking something is easy and thinking something is worth doing are two different things. If he said he really wants to score 70, then you would have a point. He was wishy washy with the dunk contest since he kept saying he wanted to do it but then backed out. With this one, you're just reaching.

I'm chilling right now......watching my Noles beat on Syracuse:noah:
I'll do it later then. Is there a site that lets you array career game logs or are you exporting each seasons game logs into excel individually and then sorting? I'd rather not do the latter.
