LeBron: "If I get 37 shots in a game, I'm going to put up 60, 70. Easy."

well whatever they even then. Free throws still count.

Even? No, they're not even. Pau had 7 points on 2-2 fg and 5-6 ft. Kobe had 3 points on 0-2 fg and 3-4 ft, and 2 of Kobe's FTs were off of an intentional foul that only happened because of Pau.

Also, Pau had a huge defensive play (blocking PP's layup with 1:47 left that would have cut the lead to 2) and the biggest rebound of the game (rebounding Kobe's miss with 27 seconds left and a 3-point lead, forcing Boston to foul).

Pau scored on 4 out of 4 possessions in crunch time AND got the block AND got the rebound. Kobe wasted 2 Laker possessions with missed jumpers, missed a FT on another possession, and had nothing but that 1 point in crunch time until he got intentionally fouled.

But keep saying that Kobe was the clutch one in Game 7 and not Pau. Pau put up 19-18-4-2 in that game with 8 fewer missed shots than Kobe and 3 fewer turnovers too.

Finals MVP stolen from the Spanish dude. :lolbron:

Kobe gave them the 4 point lead they never relinqueshed.

Kobe fans arbitrarily reaching back to 6 minutes now to Stan for their guy. Have you ever called a shot with 6 minutes left the pivotal "clutch" shot of the game for Lebron or any other player...ever? :stopitslime:

At least he did make that shot...because it was the ONLY field goal he hit the entire 4th quarter, and the LAST field goal he'd hit for the entire game. While Pau carried them to victory in the final 5 minutes. :salute:

"Yeah, Kobe only shot 25% and didn't hit a shot in the last five minutes...but he made a shot earlier in the 4th quarter! MVP! MVP!"

Remember, the only reason we're even talking about this game is because these brothers think that Kobe hitting a shot with 5:22 left and getting 11 defensive rebounds while shooting 25% (and letting Pau's huge plays carry them to a win in the end) is somehow equivalent to Lebron going 37-18-13-3 on 38% and winning the fukking game with two huge shots in the final minute of overtime.

What do you consider "clutch" time? Boston never got closer than 3. In the last 2 minutes Ron Artest scored 3 points which was assisted by Kobe. Kobe, Pau & Vijacic scored 2 a piece. In the last minute only Kobe and Vujacic scored.

The NBA defines "clutch time" as the final 5 minutes of 4th quarter/overtime in a game that is within 5 points. There has to be some standard, otherwise Stans will randomly re-define it every game to fit their argument.
