but anybody who understands basketball knows that you can just say "well hes getting 30 points off 18.5 shots so if you multiply both number by 2 he's getting 60"
to get up 37 shots hes gonna take a lot of jumpers, which means his ratio of ft attempts to shot attempts will drop, and that's gonna lower his points per attempt
he took 36 shots vs the raptors and ended up with 56............and that was with him hitting 6 3's and going 14/15 from the line
it's not that easy bruh

do you guys even watch the games or just read box scores?
Bron's shooting 60% because he's not taking "difficult" shots. He's getting most of his points in the paint, off transition, or open shots on catch and shoots. You can't extrapolate his fg% when he's taking these types of shots to the amount of shots needed to get 60-70 points. He ain't getting 60-70 points off layups, dunks, or open 3s. He's gonna need to hit ALOT of contested shots. And as a result his fg% will drop.
I don't think he has the shooting ability to hit contested shots to score 60-70 points. If he did, then Pop wouldn't have had Diaw playing like ten feet off him daring him to shoot.

I don't think anyone is saying it like that, he would obviously have some struggle games mixed in there if he tried to volume shoot and force shyt. He would also have some nights where he's on and he's unstoppable. Give him a string of games of shooting 35-40 times and I guarantee he will have a few ridiculous nights in there. David Robinson singlehandedly proved why individual game scoring peaks aren't that meaningful. Guy averages like 30 pts a game and when he decides to turn it on one game, he scored 70 with ease.
