When Kobe came into the league the game was more competitive tho. His first few years were prolly tougher than Bron's.

It's not fair to compare players from different generations and eras.

Doesnt Kobe have more rings?

Don't we play to win championships?

Wouldn't you rather be the guy that lead his team to more finals wins?

The Kobe-Lebron comparison is ridiculous. No one who actually understands anything about basketball and isn't a complete retard knows that Kobe isn't even in Lebron's stratosphere as an all around basketball player, and has already been eclipsed by Lebron in career accomplishments despite the fact that Lebron still has several years of his prime left. Kobe homers in general are pretty pathetic in every sense of the word, but I guess emotional idiots who can't utilize objectivity or logic are the staple of a world where people like Skip Bayless are popular and Trump is president

Dasss rite. Kobe never left his team to ring chase during his prime. How pathetic. Abandoning the team that drafted you to play with two other hall of famers. Bean and MJ are on a level bron will never reach :sas2:
They both tried to make moves for greener pastures when management was not putting competitive teams around them. The only difference is Lebron made boss moves to control his own legacy while Kobe whined to random cacs in a Vons parking lot and made passive aggressive trade demands on a homemade cell phone camera for youtube, then was fortunate enough to be able to fall back after management managed to land Pau Gasol for free, which salvaged Kobe's career from all-time sidekick status.

PAU GASOL SAVED KOBES LEGACY BRODIES

SO DID RON ARTEST WHEN HE MADE THAT 3 IN GAME 7 AGAINST THE CELTICS

the ether
KOBE WAS GOING THROUGH TOUGH WESTERN CONFERENCE TEAMS WHILE LEBRON STATPADDED AGAINST WEAK EAST TEAMS.

Kobe career against Eastern teams: 24.2ppg on 43.9% shooting
Kobe career against Western teams: 25.4ppg on 45.2% shooting

Lebron career against Eastern teams: 27.2ppg on 50.0% shooting
Lebron career against Western teams: 27.1ppg on 50.3% shooting

Lebron's career scoring in 7 Finals against "tough" Western Conference teams: 27.0ppg on 45.5% shooting
Kobe's career scoring in 7 Finals against "weak" Eastern Conference teams: 25.3ppg on 41.0% shooting

Lebron's had to face top NBA defenses like the Celtics (four times), Bulls (four times), Pacers (four times), Spurs (three times), Pistons (three times), and Warriors (two times). Kobe hasn't faced nearly as many top defenses in the playoffs as Lebron has.

The East might have been weaker than the West during Lebron's career (though they've won almost the exact same number of rings - six versus seven - since Lebron came into the league). But the East has consistently had better defenses. More often than not it's been the West where run-and-gun offenses with shyt defense - like the Suns and the Rockets - have been getting high playoff seeds.
