LeBron James and Anthony Davis have expressed growing concern that the Lakers roster is not good enough and feel like changes need to be made

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
I firmly believe he's the greatest player of all time, ain't no doubt in my mind and yall know that...

But this year in, year out shyt, I BEEN ready for him to pack it up and go home. No version of what the Lakers can acquire, no coach, can reach a championship ceiling with then because he isn't the same player. Davis isn't the kind of leader or even great enough of a player (and he's great) to be the best player on a title team. They don't have the money or assets to get real difference makers in, because of the money tied to those two...

Lakers currently on pace for ~46 wins, which is on brand, they are annually pretty much a 40-something win team in the LeBron era. The team can't really grow, and I don't want to absolve Jeannie or Pelinka of any blame here. These dumbasses are the ones who destroyed a championship roster from 2020 that won the equivalent of 60 games. They did that shyt, not LeBron...

Bit Bron's bytching every single year, your salary and diminished abilities are two HUGE factors in why the team can't be a contender. Hang it up and go home and stop all the crying since you not giving them the money back...

I REALLY hope he announces next season is his last one...

Kessler, Sexton, Bruce Brown firmly places them at 2nd or 3rd in the West.. they have the assets for it

Just need to trade Rui and remove protections on the 1st round picks

Which yet again is always the issue. Rob hasn’t made moves for years now. He doesn’t want to get of the assets he does have and is frankly lucky that DLO didn’t walk for nothing

I wasn't even think of Sexton :ohhh: he's on my fantasy squad and been killing all year, rotting away on the Jazz

If he could break 30pts he woulda gotten shipped off early like Schroeder did, the Lauri Markannen experiment was a huge failure but no one's gonna talk about it, he needs to go too

Jazz could really save a few teams seasons if they completely blew it up, if they don't get Cooper or some other immediate impact draft they should go ahead and let everyone free

Ainge is gonna want some heavy draft compensation for anyone on that team.. granted the Jazz ended up trading with the Lakers for Russ so there already are ties there

There contenders that got worse supportin casts past they top 2 than Reaves, Rui, Christie, Dorian, Vando, Knecht, Hayes....

The hard truth is Bron can't be a number 1 on a contender anymore and probably not even number 2. nikkas will point to his boxscore 23, 9, 8 whatever but that don't capture the story Bron one of the worst defenders in the league. He don't even play no defense no more shyt is wild. He just stands there, doesn't get back transition, doesn't rotate, guard his man. He just a statue out there his impact is that of a 3rd option at best in 2025.

Most team don't got a 3rd guy as good as Reaves. If Bron was still in his prime nothin would be said bout this supportin cast. Its just he not a top 15 player no more. AD still a borderline top 5 player but Bron top 15-20 range at best. He not a good enough number 2 unless they got another superstar top 10 type of player.

Only way they can be a legit contender wit level of Bron now is if they got another top 10, top 15 level player like Steph :russ:

nikkas signed those contracts wit quickness knowin they wouldn't have same roster flexibility. You can't cry bout roster moves when it's all ya fault. Ain't never seen Tim Duncan complain bout rosters cause that nikka always took mad paycuts to have best teams they could. That should be a part of legacy talks honestly or at least when you havin start a franchise wit talks.

AD disappears far too much on the offensive end to be considered top 5. Bron is literally still counted on to be the top offensive creator on the team because AD has regressed to the point where he can't carry the team every night. Since the first month of the season AD's production has dipped sharply.

And while Reaves is good he's not good enough to a 3rd option on a championship team. Why? Because his game is way too up and down. You can't just give him the ball and expect him to go get you 30-40 on any given night. And for what little talent this team has they require their top 3 guys to bring consistent production every night...especially against the better teams which they don't do.

Can't really blame Bron because he just has too many miles on him to bring it every night but what he's getting from his next 2 teammates aren't good enough. Bron should be the 3rd option right now but the team isn't good enough to allow him that.

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Doesn’t matter who’s on the team, the energy surrounding this franchise has dwindled and we all know why. The Buss and Bron duo needs to be stopped. Pelinka to boot.

Bottom line, this version of Bron is the Jerry Jones of the Lakers. They will win again when he leaves.

Rise up!
You ungrateful “Lakers fans” better appreciate your 17th ring brought to you by THE King :blessed:
Don’t mind the fact that we were Cavs fans five years ago and a Heat fans ten years ago and Cavs fans before that. You’re not a true Lakers fan if you don’t cheer for LeBlackwater pillaging your team’s assets just to get bounced by Jokic and Westbrick :stopitslime:
