LeBron James and Anthony Davis have expressed growing concern that the Lakers roster is not good enough and feel like changes need to be made

i dont think they're wrong. but i also dont think the answer is appeasing lebron at this point. if jj is the coach of the future, then plan for the future. trade AD and bron for whatever you can get and actually build for a future version of the team that can grow with the coach.

a go-forward plan is never gonna work while lebron thinks the best path for right now is him dominating the ball every night. and again, i'm not saying he's wrong. but i dont think they have the assets to build the team the way he wants either. time to move on.

He did.. he took a pay cut so the Lakers could stay below the 2nd apron cause Rob doesn’t know how contracts worked and fukd up on player options

He was willing to take a bigger pay cut, but Rob struck out on EVERYONE in free agency
Is there any reason not to have some room in the salary cap to allow for wiggle room on trades tho?

You do need a handful of midsized contracts for trades no matter what team you are. Especially with the apron rules alot of times you gotta either match or send out more $$ than you’re bringing in via trades

Like Zach Lavine for instance, he makes too much $$ for a lot of teams like the Lakers and they barely have enough salary to go out in order to trade for him while also staying below the 2nd apron

Most teams stay below the $188mil 2nd apron cap (think like 4 teams are above it), but the DFS trade actually helped lower the cap # for the Lakers.

Who the fukk worth anything would wanna play there at this point? You should know the routine by now. The minute shyt goes a little left youre bein subliminally told by LeQueen its your fault and you ain't good enough.

LeGBT doesn't seem to understand this, nobody worth a damn wanted to sign here when they had a little space this summer. Even washed ass Klay said no thanks :mjlol:

They're "right" but LBJ/AD are ignoring the elephant in the room: their role in all this shyt.

The team makes sense if you have Heatles/Cavs LeBron and a healthy AD...(don't laugh).
The team makes sense if they have the greatest/2nd greatest player of all time in his prime?

Well yeah, pretty much every team makes sense if you have that lol

AD has been pretty healthy for almost 2 seasons now. Hes got foot issues going now, but that’s pretty normal wear and tear of an NBA season

He’s been one of the healthiest superstars over the past few years

Deja vu. I had to check the date to see this wasn’t from years prior :what:

Bron has done irreparable damage to the game man. I’m a ‘Bron fan’ but that ngga has been a horrible factor in how future generations act. Just retire man
