I was listening to Lakers Film Room earlier and Pete Zayas mentioned how no one he's talked to in the Lakers organization believes they have a chance to contend, or that there's a trade out there that makes them contenders. Lakers have made 1 trade in the past 2.5 years (DFS)

They haven’t made trades to fix any of their “on the fly” roster construction. Or done anything in free agency to remedy any of their issues
