LeBron James and Anthony Davis have expressed growing concern that the Lakers roster is not good enough and feel like changes need to be made

I was listening to Lakers Film Room earlier and Pete Zayas mentioned how no one he's talked to in the Lakers organization believes they have a chance to contend, or that there's a trade out there that makes them contenders. And it's pretty obvious that they're a middle of the pack team. So why shouldn't we blow it up?
agreed
honestly theyre fortunate right now to be 23-18 and 6th. their srs is 19th in the nba, their net rating is 21st, their point differential is 12th in the west. i dont know who the player is who magically turns a play-in quality team into a contender and what team is dumb enough to trade him to the lakers for what exactly if theyre unwilling to part with reaves. rui and filler?

Do some of yall nikkas even follow the NBA :gucci:

Lakers have made 1 trade in the past 2.5 years (DFS)

They haven’t made trades to fix any of their “on the fly” roster construction. Or done anything in free agency to remedy any of their issues

They still don’t have a backup big or PG and it’s going on 3+ years of the same issues

I wonder if they ever thought about their max players not being good enough :jbhmm:

Or perhaps that they're always looking for quick fixes like it's the national team instead of building a real team :snoop:
“Quick fixes” but the Lakers have made 1 trade for a backup wing in 2.5 years
