Bron Industrial Complex working overtime on the spin :wow:

Another handpicked roster not good enough :wow:
He never getting another ring, especially as a 1st or 2nd option. So they gotta start creating the narratives as why the 4* rings are amazing (i.e. "winning in 2020 was the most difficult ring all time!!!1!11!")

Some people on the coli have been saying this for at least 3 years now.
The Lakers haven't had any depth for a long time, and because they've depleted their draft picks they don't have any mechanism to acquire immediate help.

They can blame Darvin Ham or JJ Red*ck or Lebron (lord knows they love to blame Lebron) for their struggles but their problems aren't an execution on the court thing -- it's a front office failure...and they've been kicking the can down the street for years.

They said Ham was holding back a championship roster last year though and the new coach would be the fix :jbhmm:
That’s not remotely what anyone said.. everyone who has followed the Lakers saw they needed another PG, backup big, and wing depth in order to

Darvin was a terrible coach. This rosters isn’t a championship level roster.

Both those are true statements

They most def could have traded their draft picks for help.. they just haven’t for 2+ years

The last time the Lakers made a trade, they went to the WCF and each of those trade pieces were still iffy

DLO shrunk in the playoffs and his stats took a nosedive, Vando was the worst offensive player in the playoffs, and Beasley wasn’t even in the rotation… and they still went to the WCF
