They can’t make any moves. LeBron & AD both eat up a significant portion of the team’s cap. Also, Pelinka has made moves in season the last few years to try to placate Bron. What assets do they have left? Again, this is all their fault. Both are a aware enough to know that the Lakers aren’t in position to trade draft capital AND the Lakers roster outside of Bron & AD is not strong enough to get a high return of picks nor do they have the cap to sign another top level player. The Lakers were stupid to entertain and go through with extending Bron this past offseason. They should be looking to the future.

JHS, Vando, Rui, Max, Austin, and Gabe are all on bigger $$ contracts or expiring deals in addition to 1st round draft picks
The last trade the Lakers made (before DFS) was DLO, Vando, and Beasley.. what the hell are you talking about with Rob has made moves? The last move he made in season was over 2 years ago
Any trade offer the other team is gonna either ask for Reaves, or Rui in addition to those picks. And honestly Rui+gabe/Vando+picks should net you something pretty positive
But Rob doesn’t wanna part with Rui or Austin

Just stop it already. Lebron needs to understand that the Lakers will never win another ship as long as he is on the roster. I don't care what role players you bring it, trade. That's not the problem. It's nothing wrong with the roster. They tried to blame Russ, then Dlo, Vogel, Ham, None of it has worked

Issue with Lavine is that his contract is so big that a lot of teams are 1st apron teams which means they have to send out more $$ than they take in a trade. Thats a lot of contract/bodies that teams just aren’t willing to move
Before this whole 1st/2nd apron thing he probably would have been traded already
A guy that’s played like 10 games in 2 years, another who’s a shell of his Miami days and Rui aren’t getting you shyt
