You don’t watch the games.. LeBron def has issues there’s no doubt about that.

His issues on defense are closing out on perimeter players and he’s pretty bad in transition. The thing with him tho is that he is still pretty damn good on ball defense, and in the post. The entire Lakers have an issue in transition tho, not just Lebron

Overall he’s an average to below average defender on a game to game basis. But in high leverage situations he turns into a good defender
Def a somewhat lazy off ball defender atp. But they have a not very good roster defensively anyway. When Knecht was on, they'd have dude on the floor with Reeves and Bron at points. You'd have DLo out there back in the day. It's not a lot of guys on there that are giving you value on both ends...including LeBron, they just got too many one sided players.

the narrative that the team needs more pieces around them is hilarious when those 2 get outplayed by every superstar they go against

:dead:

if we play a top 5-10 team, we're going to lose. unless they sit out and reaves carries us like he's done when those guys bytch out. look at our record against the best teams, its an auto L. i can count on 1 hand our wins against elite teams the past 2 years and 3 out of 5 were won by DLo and Reaves

Jokic is better than this guy ever was

Respectfully :hubie:
Here's the problem with LeBron threads right here, folks 🤣 nikkas always lining up to OD some shyt...

Jokic is in his 10th year in the NBA, so this is no longer some "aw shucks" feel good young guy. There's enough of a resume here, nearly a full decades worth. LeBron hit his 10th year in 2013...

You line up career benchmarks thru the first decade of both their careers, stop it fam. Its not Jokic coming out on top. At Y10 there was no debate who the best basketball player was. Jokic is arguably that now but there's certainly a debate; he is not better than Bron was at his apex. I dont even think '13 was the greatest version of Bron, Jokic not better than that version of Bron...
Doesn’t matter who’s on the team, the energy surrounding this franchise has dwindled and we all know why. The Buss and Bron duo needs to be stopped. Pelinka to boot.

Bottom line, this version of Bron is the Jerry Jones of the Lakers. They will win again when he leaves.
Well the difference here is they weren't winning before he got there. He arrived in 2018, Lakers hadn't won a championship since 2010. Hell the Cowboys hadn't won a championship since 12 years before Jerry bought the team, they weren't winning, either...
And thats the issue with the Lakers. They want it both ways. They want to hoard their assets for post Bron life.....but fielding a Lebron led team is indicating you're in win now mode.
I do agree with this. They need to pick a fukking side and stay on it. The right move for a few years now, has been to not extend Bron, let him walk, and rebuild the team. You're now a half-decade removed from the title team. And again, a huge part of the accountability has to go to the owner and GM, these honkies ain't blameless. But their job is also to build winning teams...

They needed to do their fukking jobs and send him on his way a year or more ago. The fact these mf's so gutless says more about them than Bron, this playing both sides shyt. It's obviously not fukking working...

They got a top 10 player who has been publicly lobbying to play with another big for five years now and this is the best Pelinka can do :dead:

Throw Austin in there. Dude is playing like a borderline All Star since getting some of the primary ball handling duties

I don’t care what you’re stressing. At this point I’m taking Jokic over Kevin McAllister. Defense is the only thing that separates the two but the flip side is I’m not getting any of the nonsense that comes with your favorite player deciding he’s on your team…for now

We wouldn’t sell as much jerseys however :manny: :manny:

AD playing center the past 3 seasons has resulted in the best numbers of his career and ironically the most healthy he has been the last couple of seasons. He is not playing in an era with a lot of banging so I don't know why he's bytching. One day when Brook is gone Giannis will be a center too and I don't think he will fuss about it at all as I think he should have been there years ago just like AD.
