This is essentially a contradicting argument...

So you saying he should get a * because the East is weak, but the West does indeed have stronger teams..

But if you put him on any of the Western playoff contenders, he'd be doing the same thing he is now and then you would move the goalposts and say his team is too stacked and try put another *

:mindblown:

You're an idiot. There is a difference between playing no one of challenge till the finals and playing tough teams every round. Yes if he was on a western team he'd be on a better team, but his east teams never would even get out the first round in the west, he'd be having a tough time even getting to thr WCF on better squads

Playing JV isn't the same as playing varsity competition

i damn sure dont remember anyone saying jim kelly was better than joe montana because he won 4 afc titles in a row. even looking at that first two round comparison posted earlier, jordan's teams were the no.1 seed 5 out of 6 years while lebron's teams were the no.2 seed 4 out of 5 years yet jordan's faced teams with a better overall record despite facing lower seeds. shows how significantly weaker the east is right now. there was competitive balance between the two conferences 91-98. the past 5 years the western conference has had more 50+ win teams and less teams with fewer than 30 wins every single year. would anybody pick one of the team's lebron beat in the ecf to beat a single one of the 6 teams jordan beat in the ecf?

making it to 5 straight finals even from a weak east is an accomplishment, but its not the mountain top.

Don't take away what the man has done. This is impressive. He's no doubt the best in our generation and it isn't close. I'm not trying to hear this west/east conference thing. The players should consider where they're signing more carefully. If you were a Max player wouldn't you try to sign in the east? Others would follow right along. FOH wit this thread

sorry, but sleep walking to the finals every year against trash teams just isn't impressive

Imagine if GOATcan was in the east his entire career, he'd of played in 15 NBA Finals
too many variables
no popovich
no working those extra summers to get better cause of the compettition
playing the best makes u better so if he played mediocre he prolly wouldnt be a hof

The Truth
OP is absolutely right

You can tell which conference was the best by the records of the teams in the playoffs

Lebron has set himself up with Allstar teams since he first left Cleveland... Not to mention being in the less difficult conference..

He's 2/5 out of his Finals appearances as well... After basically cruising throughout the playoffs.

I will admit he's been impressive this season mainly because he's posting up and being effective in it.

Its not a hate thread but you were quick to make it right as the Cavs knocked out the Hawks. Lebron is going to his 5th straight Finals and there aint shyt the Spurs can do about it because Parker is washed and Kawhi disappeared. You're thirsty to discredit a legitimate accomplishment.
