the most interesting part of this article is the mental math Bron did in front of reporters when he said "I'm shooting 54 percent from the field right now, so if I shoot 54 percent at 25 shots a game? Pff, that's like ... doing my math ... that's 27 points right there. That's without shooting free throws and shooting 42 percent from the 3-point line."

You act like he hasn't been top 3-4 scorer over the years..with the difference being a point or two avg.and not shooting ft's in the 80% area and not averaging 20+ fga a game...

I'm talking right now. Kobe, Melo, Durant and even Harden got one on Bron. No way he could top these nikkas for the scoring title.

A lot of people could say that, and he probably could. But it's about what you actually do.

I'm a Bron-hater, but I (mostly) respect dude's games. I think he could based on his game, but he probably would be less efficient and win less come playoff time. Anyway, it's not that he can't, it's that he doesn't want to be that guy: that's why he teamed up with Wade and Bosh, so he doesn't have to shoot/score as much. So him saying "I wonder"...is kind of bs, he had that in Cleveland and decided to leave.

What # do folk think bron could've averaged (with his improved post-game and shooting) if he had put the pedal to the floor for the entire season? I'm talking about having a scoring mentality within reason, not just chucking up shots every single time he gets the ball and still facilitating.

If he wanted too, I'd say 34pts a game.

3 made baskets a quarter = 12 FGs a game made =24pts

Sprinkle in an average of 2 3pt fg made= 26 pts

Then his average of 8 fts made a game=34

I feel Bron could lead the league in scoring if that was his goal. But i also think that KD could average 35 a game too if he wanted. So i dont no if he could do it year in and year out like he thinks he could. shyt even Kobe could still be over 30 a game if he really wanted to.
