A couple of those years it was a foregone conclusion that the Heat would win the title. When the Spurs won game 1 in 2013 it was a collective shock to the sports world.

The Heat were the second best team of this Era. I would go as far as to say the 2013 team beats the '15 AND '16 Warriors.

They played the best press defense I've ever seen. They went up against teams with solid big men who should've destroyed them inside and just ran them off the court.

For a team with such a massive defensive disadvantage in the middle to rule the league like that was Bulls-esque.

The fukk is this revisionist history, especially the bolded. The Heat CONSTANTLY struggled against teams with solid big men. The Magic would routinely run them off the floor when they had Dwight, they always dropped regular season games to squads that had bigs and three-point shooting, even the scrub teams, and do I even have to bring up all of their struggles against Indiana?

Getting pushed to 7 three times is hardly dominating. Only getting the #1 seed in the weak Eastern Conference in one out of 4 years because the team's flaws didn't make them an optimal regular season team isn't "dominant." LeBron had to drag the team in 2012 while averaging 30/10/6, and it wasn't until the Finals that they actually reached their full potential.

The sad thing is, posts like this will be recognized as the norm in 10 years time. LeBron stans rewriting his career and it's not even over yet.

But it's true. You guys either have awful memories or are just plain lying. I watched tons of Heat games, I remember all of the discussions about them, I know all of the flaws that I've seen for myself and were constantly used as talking points by people on forums and analysts, but now a few years later people have completely forgotten them and act like they went '90s Bulls on the league.

Wade was only at his prime level for about 1.5 seasons. I say 1.5 because he couldn't stay on the floor in 2012 but he was usually at his elite leve. Even when he was playing great during the 27 game winning streak he played nothing like the prime Wade we know, instead being more of a "old-man"/mid-range shooter rather than an athletic demon.
