astros did get off light as hell
you're punished more for doing peds
That's because Manfred is a p*ssy. Bud Selig would have dealt out way tougher punishments. Braves were punished more severely than the Astros and their scandal had to do with signing international players.

the ether
then he shouldn’t have opened his non educated mouth on something he knew nothing of.

Opinion | LeBron James' China comments aren't unique. The criticism he received is.

Ignorant people who probably didn't even hear/read LeBron's statements are the ones talking about something they know nothing about:

“I think when we all sit back and learn from the situation that happened, understand that what you could tweet or could say (could affect people),” James said. “We all talk about this freedom of speech. Yes, we all do have freedom of speech, but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you’re not thinking about others, and you’re only thinking about yourself.

“I don’t want to get into a word or sentence feud with Daryl Morey, but I believe he wasn’t educated on the situation at hand, and he spoke, and so many people could have been harmed, not only financially, but physically. Emotionally. Spiritually. So just be careful what we tweet and what we say, and what we do. Even though yes, we do have freedom of speech, but there can be a lot of negative that comes with that too.”
Let me clear up the confusion. I do not believe there was any consideration for the consequences and ramifications of the tweet. I’m not discussing the substance. Others can talk About that.
My team and this league just went through a difficult week. I think people need to understand what a tweet or statement can do to others. And I believe nobody stopped and considered what would happen. Could have waited a week to send it.

Rockets/Astros fans claiming that LeBron is caping for China more than Harden/Westbrook did are full of shyt. LeBron doesn't say hit in favor of China or against Hong Knog here. He's saying Morey wasn't considering the consequences accurately (which is obvious because otherwise Morey wouldn't have had to pull back the tweet a couple days later and apologize).

Now what did Harden say?

We apologize. You know, we love China. We love playing there. I know for both of us individually, we go there once or twice a year. They show us the most important love.

So we appreciate them as a fan base. We love everything they're about, and we appreciate the support that they give us individually and as an organization.

That's caping way harder for China than LeBron did. He's directly apologizing to China and showing all sorts of love. LeBron didn't even say shyt about China, he was just mad at Morey for not taking into account the repercussions.
