I love basketball but I don't like his game. There ain't no contradiction in terms. Same reason I also didn't like Duncan's game in the 00s. LeBron doesn't make plays that WOW me as much as Durant or Kobe. Its a reflection of the fact he's so highly efficient that he doesn't take the risks those dudes take. From a coaching standpoint maybe I would be happy. But from a viewing standpoint I want to be entertained and seeing a dude make the right play every time down ain't entertaining.

Its the same reason I enjoy Russell Westbrook play over any other point guard in the league. Sure he makes more bad plays than guys like Chris Paul but he also makes more spectacular plays because he takes more risks. Hence the reason I like Westbrook's game.

Gimme showtime any day of the week over a guy who makes the "right" basketball play.

What plays does Durant make that wows you? He's a shooter

I got 2 plays from LeBron from 3 different facets of the game that "wow" me (passing, and defense..leading to offense), can you post some similar ones from Durant for comparison

Why can't you efficiency hawks just realize PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT. I personally don't get a hard on for nikkas shooting percentages. That shyt means NOTHING to me. Maybe if I was a coach I and it correlated to whether I got paid, I would give a shyt. But I'm more impressed by spectacular play NOT efficient play.

the fact he's pulling from 5 feet behind the line with a hand in his face....the fact he can cross you off the dribble at the 3 point line and then take two steps and dunk.....the fact he can give you the shot off the dribble if you crowd him on the outside

he has practically every move imaginable in his offense repertoire.....and he uses it.....that makes the difference

that definitely did....just like his game against the pistons in 07 ....those were two of the GOAT performances I've ever seen......however most of his games aren't like this.......not in terms of the dominance but in terms of the play

I'm just saying that if there are two games on the TV, the Heat are on one channel and the Thunder are on another. I gonna watch the Thunder cause I wanna watch KD. Same with if the Lakers are on. I wanna watch Kobe. LeBron's game just doesn't do it for me.

Lebron is a boring player. He doesn't have the wow factor and never has had it. He is just flat out dominant. With that said, Lebron really improved his fundamentals, that's the biggest difference between him three years ago and now.

Lebron's games are generally dominant but they are exciting. Not a lot of flashy plays. Grunt work style of play. Not the most interesting to the eye. People like Lebron for the same reason they like Peyton Manning. They are dominating their opponents and are clearly better.

Tim Duncan is a true outlier because he is very boring. So boring, he isn't exciting to watch play at all but if you are a purist, you have nothing else but to love his overall skill-set and ability.

Durant is a 7 footer with long arms running around the perimeter stroking 3s and beating nikkas off the dribble. That shyt makes no sense.

I do agree about Russ though. Major reason Thunder are my favorite team to watch is cause they got both KD and Russ.
