Fair, but that's still not what this move is. Like I said, half the time he's looking at his hand, which is another reason why this move is trash. In CP3's version of it, he's at least looking at a teammate 95% of the time.

There's been legit times where LeBron has looked off defenders but never was it a part of this particular move.

CP3 is looking at a teammate because he's luring the defender into expecting a pass. LeBron is using a hesitation dribble to fool the defender into thinking he's about to drive on him. He looks at the ball to distract the defender's attention and emphasize the hang dribble, causing the defender to sit back in his stance getting ready to come back rather than go forward ready to challenge the shot.

I'm a Bron stan but his game is ugly to me. His game is a lot more effective than pretty.

Jordan
Kyrie
Olajuwon
KD
Kobe
McGrady
Paul George

All are masters of aesthetics with MJ mastering aesthetics and effectiveness. GOAT. Kids are camp machines now and a lot of them play like they're running drills. But it's good to see guys like Morant on the rise

Someone pointed out that LBJ replaced a lot of "pretty" shyt he did back when he came into the league with more pared down shyt that was a lot more efficient and consistently effective. You watch game tape of his rookie year and he had a crazy array of moves, but he was a lot streakier and less efficient too. Some of the shyt that 18/19yo LBJ could already do was sick, he could have kept developing in this direction, but it never would have been as efficient.

Yeah, his game was never "pretty" to me but it was a lot more fluid before he bulked up. His pre-2009 game was a lot better to watch. I think he could have honed that game to be just as efficient but I cant really argue with the post 2009 results lol.

It’s more due to the weight and muscle gain. LeBron never even lifted until the Redeem Team when Kobe said get stronger. That’s when his game got more less fluid. More efficient and better jumper but less fluid

Ignorant posters always expose how little they know about bball when they criticize LBJ's game. His bball IQ is the secret to all of it and they can't even see it. When he knows the defender has him going inside, he fakes him and shoots over. When he knows he's ready to challenge the shot, he blows by him. He passes when they expect him to shoot and scores when they expect him to pass.

The ignorant sit here typing, "Look how easy it is! Why does he also get away with that weak shyt!" And they can't read inside the game to understand that it was his knowledge of that particular defensive set, player, tendencies, situation in the game, and visual cues that are leading him to choose the most effective play to exploit exactly what the defense is doing.

Must be why he looks at the ball when he dribbles behind his back, defenders think he's struggling but really he got that ball on a string :ohhh:

Brown has a bad lower back cut him some slack they also said his big ass has weighed 280.He not supposed to be AI with it.I never thought Kobe's Dream Shake was pretty ,and Jordan had fluid but basic handles.

Bron has NEVER weighed no higher than 260 :russ:, nikka doesn't even look nowhere near 260 either. If he was 240 as a rookie, at most he maxed at 255.
