news to me because when he original tweeted it, it wasn't half as big as they making it now.
The reaction to Adam Silver, Popovich, Steve Kerr, and the players not speaking on Chinese human rights issues is far bigger than any heat Morey is getting. He's hiding behind the players/coaches and letting them deal with it.

Morey has seemingly disappeared while LeBron will be in front of cameras everyday. LeBron will get the brunt of the hate.

morey got shytted on by his own owner, his star player and had Yao Ming flexing on them.

Y'all really trying to act like this NBA-China thing wasn't a big deal until Bron commented today? :skip:

Did you really not read the first sentence of my post that you quoted? Because if he doubles down he loses his job because no one in this league (which has proven to be spineless in the last week) has come to his defense. The second he steps out again, he's getting sniped from both sides

Did you read my post? Actions have consequences.

He put black players in a position to talk about issues that don't have anything to do with them and its affecting their job and their potential earnings on and off the court.

Meanwhile a racist white cop who killed a black man in his own apartment is basically only going to do two years in jail. A black woman was also killed in her own home last week by a racist white cop.

Where was Morey's tweet about that? :jbhmm:

That shyt happened in the same state his employer/team is based in. :jbhmm:

Why don't the fake outrage brigade talk about these tragedies?:jbhmm:

On this one...

I think thats tough to answer.

They could have thought it was nothing, but then felt some type of way or fear once actually over there.

Either way this seemed like it was going to pass so no need to bring it up now.
Lakers were out and about and got good reception by the fans. China is not touching some of the most popular people in the world. If NBA thought there was even a .000001 chance China would try to detain them, they don't fly over there and put their players at risk.

At the end of the day, I don't think anyone expected China to react like this over a picture..mad sure. But they boycotted as a whole country and tried to destroy every relationship.

Morey is a coward as well so it is what it is at this point. :yeshrug:I just hate that this story got a new 2 week lifeline
