I'm sorry ya'll, but LeBron can't do shyt for the people in Hong Kong or Muslims in China or for Chinese citizens in general. Any bland statement he could release against China would get him twitter points but do nothing for aforementioned folks and potentially hurt him and his family financially. LeBron just pretty much implied the situation in Hong Kong is deeper than what Morey implied in his statement (it is) and that he won't speak on it. I would have preferred for LeBron to just avoid this situation with a 'no comment'. He has nothing to with it but he's the face of the NBA so he has to take the brunt of this apparently.

Misinformed about what :why:
Tiananmen Square was 30 yrs ago my nikka
China got a MILLION Muslims in concentration camps RIGHT NOW
shyt is literally a police state with a 99% conviction rate
:what:

The fact these fakkits had a meeting with Adam silver trying get Morey FIRED is crazy
nikkas lost all credibility with this and it’s scary cause who is to say they wouldn’t flip on black issues if money was at stake
Why are they the only one's who get called out? Stop and think. Do you know how many American Companies do business in China? Do you know how many Americans do business with Authoritarian regimes around the world? Why aren't people ciriticizing Apple with the same passion they do these Black athletes?

Apple removes Quartz news app from the Chinese App Store over Hong Kong coverage
Here is a list of all the Companies who do business in China...

This is just a small list of the companies who do business in China. Why aren't anyone calling them out.
China has already upped its purchases of U.S. agricultural products, according to Trump
What about the Farmers who sell food to China, anyone calling them out?
Bill Gates and China spur development of next-generation reactors
Is anyone calling Bill Gates out?

Of course the answer to all these questions is no. The only people who are being called out are the Black athletes, and the few coaches who support African-American's being treated as human beings. People who would never in a million years speak up about equality and human rights for African-Americans are no beating there chest and tearing down Black athletes because they are doing what everyone else does.

This is a sad situation, the only person who looks like he did the right thing was Morey. That dude was commenting about freedom and was bringing some awareness to those protesters in their fight for equality and everyone around him bent the knee. I think everyone here agrees that freedom is one of the most fundamental human rights. But, when one country with one billion people got your nuts you accept and don't ask any questions. Daryl Morey is not uneducated, he went to Northwestern and MIT, it's rich to have Lebron call him out on that when he never went to college.

Morey backtracked and cares about his job more than anyone in Hong Kong.
