I think what people don’t understand about what Lebron is saying is that Morey can say whatever the fukk he wants but when it affects the bottom lines of the thousands of people who work for the NBA then there’s a problem, especially when the NBA hadn’t come to an agreement about where they would position themselves in thinking about the HK/China conflict. It’s irresponsible to make decisions that would affect others’ lives if they didn’t agree to take part in the decision and thus didn’t agree to take part in the consequences.

Everything he fukking said was wrong. HE’S the one not educated on the situation. He should’ve not said shyt... he says Morey is uneducated and then says he doesn’t have enough info on the subject to comment... but Morey is the uneducated one?

and that makes sense to you because it’s lebron:gucci:

Dawg u just don’t like Bron just say that.
Morey was misinformed on the entire situation including the fact that players were in China when he made those tweets. The players had to deal with backlash and questions because of something Morey said and has since backtracked on his “protest” for Hong Kong. That’s was Brons whole point Morey started all of this and then won’t even stand behind his tweets. That’s because Morey doesn’t really give a damn or really know what’s going on in Hong Kong

I'm convinced Morey did it to be "edgy" because as a libertarian south park fan he saw the china episode a few days earlier and it was fresh in his mind. if it was some core belief he would stand by the tweet and not delete it after realizing he had stepped into it.

Bruh Lebron, Kerr, Pop etc all pretend to be woke. But when an issue like China rears its ugly head in relation to their league all of a sudden they can’t speak.

It ain’t about going down a list of issues and asking them to speak on each one. But someone from THEIR league spoke out in support of people protesting China and they have been trying to shy away from that. When Charlotte did that transgender restroom ban the NBA pulled up on them threatening to take the All star game away. Now they’re not a political “league”

It’s straight up hypocritical. He doesn’t put the idea out that he’s pro black first before anything. He puts out that he’s pro everyone. Yet when his fellow NBAer says he stands with people “fighting for democracy” he says that Morey should have thought about the repercussions of his tweet. Now how would Lebron react if someone in the NBA told him to think about they repercussions of him wearing the “can’t breathe” shirts or talking about Trayvon? He’s ain’t no revolutionary or Mohammed Ali type figure like he tries to portray. He’s a corporate shill and that’s fine if that’s how he wants to rock. But own up to it. Don’t try to fake the funk because the real is gonna see thru all that.

Beyond all that it’s more about how China pulling the NBAs card with Moreys tweet. He’s silent on that but let that had been Trump and what do you think his tune would have been? But Nike is supposedly made in sweatshops so you can take a guess as to why Lebron reprimanded Morey..

I think its the testament also to the power and influence those in high places with powers have.If you go against them or their wishes they have the power to disrupt your finances majorly to make an example to show this is what happens when you defy them. Even Bron, NBA,Nike,& etc had to kiss the Tiananmen ring and not speak out on this.

Lebron should just no commented like everyone else and kept it moving
Actively supporting the censorship of Morey or implying that HKers fighting for civil rights is wrong is a L
Ain’t no spin on that

I saw a tweet that said Lebron should have said that he only cares about black issues and I agree. We, as black people, shouldn’t give a fukk about this China-HK issue. It has nothing to do with us and its not like they give a fukk about our issues.
You should care about humanity. Muslims are getting tortured and killed, and theyre selling their organs. Its basically genocide on muslims

Whoever made that tweet, these morons are brainwashed. Yes we have been oppressed but should we only care about ourselves, and not others? The same idiots saying these things only care about their personal selves, i guarantee they havent done shyt for the black race other then spread their toxic views

If anything, all of America should stop bowing down to China. Fukk all the money, thats the problem with the world. Greed has led to money becoming more valuable then human lives

And you just dikkriding this dude because youre one of his groupies

I’m not gonna read all that worthless shyt you writing to defend this nikka. He always trying to act all high and mighty and like his voice is as important as someone elses...

He sounded stupid af in this situation and should learn when to stfu. Morey wasn’t misinformed, he was showing support for HK who just wants democracy because they were never connected to mainland schina like that. China has been trying to force shyt on other Asian cities as well but if you went outside except letting celebrity athletes tell you what to think you probably would know shyt like that.

this isn’t his fight to be speaking on... stfu then. Only reason Morey is backtracking is because the NBA is telling him to. They both need to stfu but especially Lebron who had nothing to do with this shyt

Can’t really disagree with anything you said. I mean if you’re going to compare anyone to Ali then everyone is fake woke, even a Kap. Even if he wasn’t a conscientious objector, he would probably not face combat but would be a propaganda figure which would probably be more disgusting for him. Every day he had to probably think today would be the day he could be gunned down, or the government would come on down him.

Lebron is definitely a shill, and beyond that even. He’s both a brand and businessman himself. He’s positioning himself to be very relevant after he hangs them up. He’s going to be and owner sooner or later. He’s also ultra image conscious and wants people to like/revere him. My post was more about saying fuk the usual people who from the start tried to use this a “shut up and dribble” moment. Kerrs comments were cowardly, but Lebrons were flat out disgusting and has to validate those people’s views/agendas to them. I’d definitely say he’s lost some credibility to me.
