On everything, Lebron looks like Greg Oden father on the screenshot.

But, on point; He tows the line between passionate answers and keepin' it company--I can't hate his answers.

But, I think; to say racism has no place in society is naïve.

Oppression, bigotry, prejudice is a way of life, unfortunately.

It's like the man got crazy PR work since he left for Miami.

Lebron has always been a cool cat. It's just that asterisk beside his career of how he left Cleveland (not the 2-3 Finals for me).

Hopefully after this season we'll forget it for good.

Anyone paying attention know Lebron is the modern evolution of socially conscious superstars like Ali. Since we live in a corporately controlled globalized universe, there are more considerations than in Ali's era, so being fiercely pro black can come with severe financial ramifications. Lebron has recognized this and artfully kept his views understated as to not arouse the anti-black hatred of a country supported by racist apparatuses. Its a tightrope Lebron has walked beautifully, and his powerful response to the Trayon Martin tragedy is evidence that when push comes to shove there's no confusion on where he stands.

Im not looking for an athlete to be a Marcus Garvey/MLK hybrid. Hes a ball player. I just want to know he cares, and considers him to be one of "us". In a way its like the reverse southern strategy, where high profile white men use deceptively demeaning language against people of color, so that their racist base understands they are with "them" without saying so explicitly. Lebron has no problem letting us know he is with "us", and thats a great psychological feeling, and thats all I need to know. I dont see eye to eye with him on everything, but Im proud of him.

Amen on everything ou said. Also this is no surprise on what he said. Just look at all the sistas and brotha he does business with and who he has helped put on. Plus remember when he wouldn't run away from the question on whether there was a racial factor in the backlash from his decision to go to Miami. He also posted on twitter all the racist comments folks sent him.

So Bron ain't Jordan at all. Actually he is more like Magic on and off the court in terms of playing style and being a business man.

More like he stole his line. That's exactly what Kobe said during the Trayvon fallout.

You didn't even peep what he was doing. Kobe was a bytch. "I-I-I'll wait for the facts." That was a shot at LeBron.

Bron said he never speaks without knowledge. He was talkin to Kobe's bytch ass who's too much of a c00n and a puss to speak on black issues.

Obviously the shyt went right over your head. :heh:

Kobe stans need to wake the fukk up. :smh:

I think the decision was actually the best thing to ever happen to bron. That showed him how ruthless these white folks are and how quickly white folks will turn on you over trivial shyt. Dude never got arrested, never been in any kind of trouble and just like that, overnight he became the most hated athlete. That was his nikka wake up call.

I thought the rape case was kobe's eye opening, these cacs ain't loyal moment, but like a true Tom, whenever the massa says "we", kobe still says "we"....that's how you could tell a house negro:mjpls:
