If lebron retired today his legacy would be no where near michael's. but that doesn't mean anything because he still is in his prime and healthy. but comparing them now puts the odds greatly in MJ's favor. even kobe and Duncan>>>> at this point. I mean realistically how can lebron be greater than duncan right now when duncan has had more success and even swept lebron out the finals not to mention to this day still has a better reg season record than lebron.
I prefer to make comparisons in hindsight. after retirement the discussion is much simpler. after he retires lebron will prolly have had a better career than all of them. except maybe Jordan
This is the Biggie-Jay argument (I swear rap and sports are so synonymous

). LeBron right now is Biggie. (

Stay with me) All-world talent/skills but not the long career full of accomplishments, just a short one. MJ is more like Jay. (

Stay with me) All-world talent/skills and a long career full of accomplishments. Here's the thing, though, Bron's career ain't over yet. He's only half-way through his career. Health-permitting, we'll see if he can accomplish more than MJ and others. Nevertheless, while it's unfair to compare careers when you have one player in the middle of his career while others done or almost done, you can definitely compare the talent/skills whenever you want as long as you've been able to see all players in their prime. And if you are able to do that, it's easy to compare a LeBron to a Jordan or a Kobe. The scary thing here is that we haven't seen LeBron's full prime.

He's still getting better.
And just to be extra clear

I'm not saying Bron fathered MJ, as some think Biggie fathered Jay. We know, if anything, Bron would be influenced by MJ.
Typical loser response from a fakkit ass chump like Lebron.
I bet it eats away at Jordan every day that he doesn't have more rings than Russell. You know Kobe is gonna die trying to get that sixth ring to tie Jordan.
But bytch ass Lebron? "Rings don't matter"

that's why he'll never be the greatest. fukkin chump.
Once, again, learn to read. You did read the very brief two paragraphs I highlighted...right?

He didn't say, "rings don't matter." He basically said rings are not the most important factor in determining whether a player is great.
