Like I said, his move to LA wouldn't just be for basketball reasons. He's determined to become a big producer in Hollywood, and that's important to his post basketball career. He just bought a crib in LA. If he won a championship for the LAKERS he would be GOD in hollywood. Not saying he's leaving for sure, but I can see why he's interested. I think he wants to live in LA and raise his family there, while handling business.

Cleveland will always be home. But it doesn't mean he wants to live there and raise his family there for the next 15- 20 years. Lebron has always been a business man first.

Don't know if LeBron would play in Kobe shadow because you know that's what sports talking heads would say. Clippers make more sense.

The only way he'd be in Kobe's shadow is if he didn't win, if he wins with the Lakers he's stamped for life with the team and stanbase.

Nicca Go back and read that bullshyt you just wrote with a brain. He can't go to LA because he would have to win 4 titles to pass Kobe and Magic, but if he goes to NY and wins 1 ring he surpasses MJ??? You niccas really need to stop fukking with that nose candy smh
:what::pachaha:

Tl;dr
It would mean more to MULTIPLE FAN BASES if he won 1 in NEWYORK than if he won 3 more in LA, a city that is spoiled as fukk with NBA Championships. Who would be more appreciative, the kid that gets his third Bentley or the kid with nothing that gets a used 2014 BMW that comes with a 12" and 1000 watt amp?

Breakdown:
Clearly you arent thinking straight. Take a deep breath and digest what im about to say...

If bron wants to be considered the greatest, hes gonna have to do shyt jordan has never done. Bron will never go 6 for 6 in titles, and he wont dominate the same way as jordan did. They are two different people from different eras. Even if he could, he would never get the same respect because he is not the prototype of that style. Which is why kobe will never get his just due, even tho he may be the BOAT.

Lebrons legacy doesnt have to be better, just different and mean more to franchises and the sport. If he goes to the lakers and wins a title, it doesnt mean shyt because kobe and magic both repeated and STILL have more rings. And although laker fans might LIKE lebron for it, they wont love him because he isnt there own (see wade love vs bron love in miami). But if lebron were to win 4 straight titles with LA, even the staunchest lebron hater will have to bow down because he did that in a town full of chips, yet no one has won 4 straight before. In essence, IT WOULD MEAN MORE TO LA. One title is all he needed in cleveland to be top 3 or 5, depending on your stance because it means THE WORLD to that city.

Now, lets get to new york. THEY HAVE NOTHING. MELO IS NOT THERE OWN. THEY ARE A SUPPOSED BASKETBALL MECCA YET THEY HAVEN'T DONE shyt SINCE THE 70s. AND THEY ARE THE LARGEST MARKET IN THE NBA. If Lebron comes in, teams with Melo (the only top 5 pick from the 2003 class without a title by the way) and puts New york on the map with a title, he will have led 3 teams to chips and brought back 2 franchises from the dumps. Thats shyt the people dont think is possible. That would be better than winning 3 straight in LA because IT WOULD MEAN MORE TO THE FANS AND THE NBA BY EXTENSION.

In this case, different is better.

He'd really be a fool to throw away all that goodwill he's gained with this win. If he goes to LA he's just welcoming all that criticism back into his life, where as signing the max or at least 2-3 years with Cleveland will earn him even more love and respect from the fans and the media.

Plus it's not like he's just doing Cleveland a favor, this team is built to contend for a chip for another 5+ years easily. Between Kyrie entering his prime and Tristan Thompson having another solid playoff run, plus the increase in the cap allowing them to go out and seriously strengthen the supporting cast. No matter what they do with Love they can't lose, either trade him for a 3pt/def specialist or just hold onto him and let him get more comfortable with his role, there's really no pressure on him going forward so he should only get better in the playoffs from here.

The biggest star in the NBA doesn't need to play with the Lakers to have a access to that crowd. This isn't 1975.

Only place I could see LeBron going would be back to Miami, but that's not happening either. He about to get an A-Rod once in a lifetime type of contract from Cleveland.

I dont get the wants his own team talk. 9f Bron left the Cavs would immediately need another elite wing or big to make CLE a contender

It's pretty clear now that one great player isn't enough to win in this league right now
Plus he's getting to shoot up as many shots as he wants with LeBron as he would without him. No need to have your own team when you already have the green light to do your thing.

-on the other side, Bron has to come back to defend the title and raise the banner. Your team is the king of the East, you like Tyrone Lue, and your runnin' mate Kyrie just outplayed the reigning two time MVP on the biggest stage. You can't leave that right now

You bring up a great point , there is absolutely no way Bron isn't raising that banner in a Cavs jersey come opening night
