It wasn't out of nowhere, one person mentioned it and then everyone cosigned it

That's kind of what happens when everyone has the same experience, everyone gives their take on an opinion and sometimes it's gonna be lopsided one way

if memphis doesn't have the infrastructure that millionaires are used to it's the city's fault :manny: if you've lived in multiple states you'll see very quickly how folks who never left their home state are completely delusional about their surroundings even when you put facts in their face. Why couldn't a Memphis rep just visit other hoop towns and imitate what they have just to get things started?

The real question is why did no one on the Grizzlies invest in building that city up like LeBron did Cleveland? Ja dumbass could've invested in his own hotel since he definitely knew players felt a way about being there

Lebron brought it up on a golf podcast I doubt he was asked specifically about Memphis on there

I don’t know the inner workings of Memphis I’m not saying they don’t have issues but NBA players bytching about having to stay at a non luxury hotel one day if the year isn’t making my heart bleed for them I’m sorry

Lebron is one of the fakest most contrived athletes to ever to do. This man was on a golf course, in his code switching voice (that he never talks in) in front of his white friends talking trash about blackest city in Tennessee and how they need to move the Grizzlies. We know Lebron doesn't give a damn about Nascar, Vanderbilt nor Hockey but somehow that's the selling point for moving the team to Nashville for him. There's nothing authentic about this man at all from pretending to read Malcolm X to lying about predicting Kobe's 81 point game and it's why it's always been very difficult for me to truly be a fan of him despite how amazing he is on the court.

It did feel contrived af. Do better LeBron. :francis:

Scared of Memphis but heard nothing but great things about Israel

:wow:

:laff: Tether capital of the world. No wonder you feel at home. :russ:

There's over 300,000 black people who live in Los Angeles which is more than most major cities entire population.

You feel at home around a bunch of Japanese people because you were too scared to talk to black women in the US

All of this because your idol said some c00n shyt about one of the blackest cities in America. :mjlol:

As Someone who has always mostly been a supporter I gotta admit:

This ain't it. The whole set up from the golf course with a bunch of middle aged cacs to using his code switching voice to shytting on a mostly black city....

Yea....Not a good look.

Between this and the isreal comments I'm starting to wonder if Bron is becoming more publicly conservative because he's setting up for life after basketball, these folks are the investor class that he wants to hob nob with and impress.

:jbhmm: Bron can be up and down with his statements at times, but he seems to be trending more conservative lately which sometimes happens when folks get old/older.

Yes use some critical thinking skills. Bron is a Black history connoisseur. He knows Black excellence.

Bron was strictly speaking from the perspective of the Grizzlies franchise, not the city.

He's never been this super liberal champion of black power. He got blowback for The Decision, hired a racist Republican cac to be his PR man to help repair his image, and from then on cultivated a media campaign shytting on MJ, Kobe, Steph, KD, the 90s, etc in a coordinated effort to frame himself as GOAT in the public eye. The black man with a black wife and kids thing, another media campaign.

When the NBA players were finally gonna use their power in the bubble he conspired with Obama to shut it down.

He just had to announce he is backing out the Vegas shyt because his current financiers, FSG, dont wanna do it. Maverick Carter was trying to start that league to rival the NBA and he backed out last year. That's why he's dikkriding Israel now, he needs new investors. He's gotta pivot now and he's gonna be desperate post-retirement to one up MJ and Kobe's post-basketball accomplishments. But he doesn't have genuine passions like MJ (golf, nascar) or Kobe (artistic endeavors, coaching, the Lakers). He only has manufactured BS, like pretending he's a book worm. He only golfs now because it's been super trending and in less than a year he's already cackling it up in his cac voice at the country club. MJ came up playing golf with real nikkas like Slim Bouler

Old hoe is beholden to these cacs and he knows that black power play he tried to run his over with. Expect more of this going forward.
