He's never been this super liberal champion of black power. He got blowback for The Decision, hired a racist Republican cac to be his PR man to help repair his image, and from then on cultivated a media campaign shytting on MJ, Kobe, Steph, KD, the 90s, etc in a coordinated effort to frame himself as GOAT in the public eye.
