You’re Somalian. We can trace my descendants to a plantation in Louisiana after they migrated to the north to Flint/MilwaukeeYes and only one of them, Bron, has been hailed as a pro black messiah who is above criticism because he has a black family. Comparing it to other players is nonsense.
They not moving to Nashville. The city isn't invested in the Grizzlies or basketball like that and they just funded new stadiums for Nashville SC and the Titans. They not taking the Grizzlies unless the current owner, or sells to a new owner, specifically wanna go to Nashville AND fund their own relo (new arena, training facilities, etc). The people of Nashville aren't paying for another sports team any time soon, they'd vote it down.Adam Silver must have sent out a memo for the players and media to shyt on Memphis. Why all of a sudden is the media running hit pieces on the city of Memphis? They are definitely moving to Nashville.
Agree with this entire thing 100%. Memphis is wack but Memphians love the city and they truly love basketball at all levels.Look, Memphis is a wack as fukk, but I feel like the NBA or some entity is pushing narratives to get the team out of Memphis. You don't have to do that, just move the fukking team. It's insulting to the people Memphis to be this passive aggressive about the city and team.
There are a lot of black people in Nashville; city is 24.3% black alone (171.5k population); and 27.5% total blacks when you count all people in Nashville who self identify as black (194k black people total).LeKing has spokenit’s time to ship them nikkas to white ass Nashville and the eastern conference
Now even people from Ohio are gonna hit him with the
I would know better than to shyt on Memphis in front of all white company, but have you been there?Memphis is 61% black
Nashville is 24% black
50 year old Coli groupies contextualize black power in sports through this 40 year old hoe though![]()
This is more than fairMuthafukkas have been shytting on Cleveland for decades, now it's a problem that Memphis is getting shyt on. fukk outta here![]()
Because with all the losing Sacramentans still pack out G1, its a true basketball city that loves and embraces the Kings.I don't see a problem with Memphis having an NBA team, but unfortunately the owner of their team is a scumbag and on top of it he doesn't know how to run a franchise. I imagine Grizzlies franchise could be pressured in the future.
What amazes me is how Sacramento managed to keep their team after everything. Stern fukking hated Kings, brought the crooked refs to help the Lakers, Maloof brothers were morons, but Vivek is even a bigger moron. They were supposed to move to Anaheim, then Seattle and they still managed to stay in Sacramento while being one of the worst franchises in the league.
The outrage is amplofied because LeBron said itNah when I went to go to the city in a limited capacity me and my coworkers literally talked about how we wished this center was anywhere else
Hell if it was in Nashville I probably would have considered going there lol.
I talk shyt about Alaska center too, I don’t wanna go there either as I’m sure the vast majority of this sub
What right does Memphis even have to a team exactly? Pretty sure it was Vancouver before them. How is this c00n shyt? It’s literally someone talking about THEIR JOB and where they have to travel to
I know tons of pilots. There are plenty of destinations they don’t wanna go to FOR THEIR JOB.
But this isn’t just LeBron who said this, Ant.. Draymond.. Jimmy Butler, etc have all said THE SAME shyt
Don't do this, when you account for all blacks/total black population, in 2024 Los Angeles has a population of 392,938 vs Memphis 391,660. Memphis is way smaller of a city so of course it's percentage is way higher. What percentage of Black is LA?
Alot of places have room to grow. Memphis is stagnant though as plenty of places continue to surpass it.The face of the league should be more careful with his language. A city like Memphis has room to grow, it's current status is not the end of it's story. I am not of the belief that a breh with Lebron's status and wealth is obligated to become this great benefactor but he should at least no disrespect a city with as much culture and history as Memphis. It's the very least he can do, I don't think he spoke out of malice but he revealed a certain carelessness.
Because his interest as an older dad with grown kids are different than most 20-something year oldsHe got to let that “I’m 41 years old” thing go. How does that even relate?
