I went to middle school and 2 years of high school in Memphis. When my pops goes there he brings me back some ribs from Rendezvous and that’s as close as I been back to goin back to that city in 20 years

I went to 8th grade in Memphis way back in 2002-03 school year. Haven't been back since my (step)grandma died in June/July 2017, have no real plans on getting back either.

I can’t speak for Memphis but Nashville has great hotels.

But LeBron gets to travel and play. Basketball for a living. He has it better than most. I mean I get to travel for my job sometimes and I know how to make the best of bad situations. I had to stay in Americus Georgia for a week 2 different times to cover Jimmy Carter’s sickness and eventual death. I wasn’t out here on some “I’m 41 wtf I look like staying in a Days Inn?” type shyt. I had no choice I’m sure he has ways to make his couple nights a season in Memphis or Milwaukee worthwhile. He don’t have to stay there long. I guess he wants to be able to sing with a backup band in honky tonk bars or some shyt. I mean that’s cool I guess. I mean to me it’s a nothing burger. He was literally asked about traveling at 41, and said what he did about how he doesn’t like going to Milwaukee and Memphis for his own reasons.

I will never travel like Lebron, but I’ll admit after traveling now that I got a little bit of $$ now and I looked back at the places I used to stay at and gave the face when my wife asked if we wanted to back there.
