Gasol before Kobe was known as a soft big whose greatest accomplishment was making 1 all-star selection as a reserve and getting swept outta the playoffs multiple times.

Kobe then turned him into a HOFer and clowns like you calling him the best front court player in basketball. Before kobe he was none of that. He was Al Horford status.
Is that why everyone freaked out at the trade for him? You think they were upset because Pau was an ordinary player? He averaged 20 in back to back seasons before the trade, but he was just Al Horford :stopitslime:

Melo returning 2day from Paris. Flying 2 LA. Sources say Kobe, n Europe 2, met w/him but Kobe denied it. Said he'll meet w/Melo n future tho

Carmelo Anthony has officially exercised his early termination option with New York on Monday, as expected.
Anthony also let it be known that family, and living conditions will factor into his decision.

LeBron James' agent Rich Paul has told the Heat that James will exercise his early termination option and become an unrestricted free agent, according to Chris Broussard.

the pieces are falling in place.

Th triangle is more responsible for gasol becoming a HOF. he found a system to show all his talents. Kobe is great, but kobe didn't make gasols shots go in.

they freaked out cause we got him for Kwame Brown. if we had to give up Odom, there wouldn't have been a freakout. it woulda been seen as a lateral move. nikkas freaked out cause they knew kobe only needed one and a half good players with him to start winning chips. and he proved it when we got gasol for nothing.

Lebron isn't going n e where. Anybody who thinks so is nothing but a casual fan and idiot. The Heat have been to the finals 4 years straight. No other team can offer him what the heat has except the Spurs. This is just to free up cap space for a big man and Melo.

We freaked out because this trade accomplished 2 things;

1. Swung titles and robbed us of some classic boston/spurs finals

2. Saved Kobe's legacy and gave him a chance to win a ring(s) as the best player on the team. We didn't want kobe to get another dominant big man because we knew what was going to be happening in June.

"This year, we all know it's been a real tough year for us, right?" Bryant told Power 106, according to Lakersnation.com. "So what I'd like everybody to do is to really just sit back and just absorb this year. Take it all in. Sit back and watch and listen and hear all the hate that's being thrown at us and remember every person that's kicking you when you're down, because next year it ain't gonna be this way.

"Appreciate it now. Let it sit in now, because revenge is sweet and it's quick."

Kobe tried to tell yall nikkaz!

i mentioned this earlier in the thread, it legit amazes me that people think lebron will seriously consider the cavs and even go back after what the owner said. its like they forgot all about it or just dont remember
It maybe a glimpse into their personality, cause I don't see myself, Bron or anyone with a sense of dignity and career options returning to the Cavs so the the owner and the surrounding economy could eat. Fawkem all

shyt is actually disgusting, reminds me of how there were Cavs fans everywhere before the Decision. Will never understand how you can support a player over an entire Franchise.
Because that's how the NBA markets their product. Casual fans in football, root for teams. Casual fans in baseball, root for Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs or Dodgers. In basketball, it's all about superstars
